Oh Katie, that's wonderful!!! That's an amazing loss! When you depart PI, you do it in style! 72.3! WAUW I'm chasing you at the moment! Hoping that we will reach refeed together! Vee should be finished around the same time too! What a fabulous group we would make on refeed! Keep up the great work, pretty lady!

Hi All

Thank you for all dropping by. Hoping things have been moving down for ya alls.

Louise, yes it was a big bang spread over 3 days. Was wonderful feeling espec after PI

Vee, yep exciting to be so close. But don't forget that you are almost there too. Your new pics are wonderful. Amazing stuff

Lou, yep trying to get as far away from PI as possible. Don't ever want to visit there again.

Mette, hehe if ya gonna do something might as well do it with flair . Here's hoping that you move just as fast too. Kind of gets the blood all excited again. That will be great if you, me, vee and a few others all reach refeed together.

Em, thank you for the congrats. Yeah 70 then onto the 60's. I never thought that possible until this diet. Here's hoping you are losing fast too.

Ok not much to report. After a stunning drop last week, have now only lost 100gm. It kind of went up then down. That's to be expected. Least it's my normal after huge drops. It will settle down.

Getting very excited at the thought of normal BMI. Can't believe I didn't think of it b4 Koh's post. But it is a wonderful feeling. nanas say it all. LOL

Ok time to catch up on a few diaries. Take care all

Happy losing

Katie

Katie your right about the excitement of normal bmi, Im less than 3kgs away and I cant wait, I figure after thats its all downhill. I think I have to have surgery soon and I know when they do your preop check they comment if your overweight, its nice to know they wont be able to make that comment about me!!!!

Hi all

Thanks for dropping by HBS and Louise

HBS Thanks for your congrats, and OMG 200 posts. I hadn't noticed. Should change my name to blind Nelly. wonder if I'm on here too much, or have way too much to say . If it wasn't for this forum I think I would have gone down in a screaming heap by now.

Louise Hoping the checkup went well. I read your diary and seemed it did. Do you expect a long stay in hospital or be one of the lucky ones, in / out in a jiffy. Tell the nurses you're a nurse and you will get special treatment

Well another spectacular drop. 600gm overnite. Am wondering if it is my scales acting up still. Yesty I hopped on, seen 71.8 flash up until it settled on 72.0. Today it stayed put on 71.4. So not sure if it's me or the scales. But either way, I will take the loss. soooooooo close to single digits now. If I end at the top end of my goal weight (@ 61kg) then I'm nothing but a good pee away. Have never been too sure about the low end. Am going to worry about that when I get there.

Well not sure if I have said this. But my babys can lift me . Have gone from Ragdoll to Tot. Where's the respect!!!. I remember once upon a time they held me in awe . Now my youngest told me that I am skinny. His mate's mum "ya know the skinny one, well she weighs 73kg and she's skinny!" How he comes to know this, the mind boggles.

That isn't the only time I heard skinny at me. Yesty at class, the girls were going on about how much more weight I have lost. Gee, what a horrible subject LOL. So once again I had to explain the gist of Cohen's. Still no dent in their objections, so then I asked them all their weights. All but one was low Normal BMI, where 1 was underweight. I told em I was 72kg and still considered overweight. Still no dent. So in desperation I flashed them my big fat crepey tummy and that shut them up. Hahahah nasty tactic I know, but it gets a bit old having to defend this diet. Let me be. I don't tell them to don't drink and smoke too much, now do I!!!

When I hit 71 and my size 12 jeans arrive, I will take pics and post them in my photo thread. Officially in size 12 OMG. I'm still trying to get my head around that.

Ok hoping everyone has a great day

Happy losing

Katie

Hey Katie

Wow! Wow! Wow! You are just charging through those numbers like a bull on steroids!

You're doing really well, and definitely seem to be on a roll at the mo. So happy for you. And how nice it must be to get those "skinny" comments!

I got a bit confused with all those numbers. What is your goal range? Starts at 71? Bottom number is 58?

Enjoy those Size 12 jeans, hon! You've clearly earned them!

Now you're just showing off!
Nah, seriously that's an awesome loss! I'm gonna try to catch you, but the way my losses go up and down, I'm not sure I will! Still, I reckon we'll be doing refeed around the same time. I like that! I hope the ladies that have the same to go will get there with us! A big, happy Cohens family!

I don't think that was a nasty tactic to use with the ladies. Smacking them over the head with a rolled up newspaper would have been nasty But funny!

Your kids are funny! Think about it though: You've lost almost 25 kilos! That makes you skinny compared to what you used to be!

Keep up the great work, pretty lady!

Hi back again

Sorry Francesca, it is clear to my mind hahaha. My goal weight ranges between 58 - 61kg. Since I am now 71.4 kg I am only 500gm away from single digits left to lose. I know I should have just typed that, but my mind thinks differently to most . I kind of think abstractedly. BTW I read your latest posts and to see the weight dropping is . So close to refeed you must be able to smell it. I'm rooting for ya girl. Good to see those great losses of yours. AND that post about being addicted to weighing had me laughing hard. Too funny.

Mette of course I want to show off. I was stuck on PI for so long it's time to do some losing lol. I agree. My babies are my life and am secretly pleased that they can lift me ( I think they are very proud of their mama). It's great but also sad that they think I am skinny. Broken Hill has a extreme rate of Obese people living here (and it is the younger generation also). And to think I'm skinny before my normal BMI is kind of like what I have read here somewhere before. That society sees overweight as skinny. And that is sad

Hoping ya have a great day.

Katie

PS I have noticed a few of us all around the same weight. I too think it will be fantabulous to all doing REfeed together. What a way to end the journey.

Overweight does really seem to be the new normal! And I've gotten this bad habit of looking at people in a food court, for instance, and thinking 'you shouldn't be eating that' or 'you should be on Cohens!'... And you know what I've noticed too? People eat really really greasy food and have diet coke with it! It fascinates me! And baffles me!

I liked the strutting your stuff you were doing in my diary! Good to see the increased confidence and happy hormones at work! Keep strutting, pretty lady!

Hi there, Ragdoll tot,

Quote:
Now my youngest told me that I am skinny. His mate's mum "ya know the skinny one, well she weighs 73kg and she's skinny!" How he comes to know this, the mind boggles.
Hehe - send 'em to me, and I'll teach them other words than "skinny" (which is probably "today's" compliment, BTW).

Hmm, lessee now - slim, trim, svelte, petite, healthy, phat wait on.... (doesn't that mean "pretty, hot and tempting" - that's what I heard). Though a teenager saying that of his Mum would be a helluva long bow to draw (despite how true it might be )

Anyway, Wow for you Katie - a huge 1.9Kg drop has been a BIG help.... Normal is suddenly SO much closer than that "couple of weeks" previously mentioned..... Just a few more days now, most likely.

And you just keep on LOVING these new clothes in those petite sizes, and that healthy new bod too (I'm sure you will). Rock on, Katie, you little champ,

Hugs,

Koh

You know what I saw yesterday in a cafe? A lady next to me ordered a skinny strong hot chocolate with a brownie. Now...I wondered to myself...what is the point of the skinny bit??????

Made me smile anyway...

Hi all

Thanks for dropping by Tara, Mette, Koh, TZ and Louise. Hope all is going great for ya's.

Tara....hehe don't worry, it won't be long before you are saying these things when you hit 13kg to go. Ok then I won't mention that I bought myself a pr of sz 8 jeans, just because they fitted. Consider that not mentioned

Mette, I'm doing the same thing. When I go through checkout now I'm quite proud of my trolley brimming with healthy food, and am always checking out the other shoppers trolleys. Amazing how many very large people have it brimming with junk food. It kind of haunts me, as I was one of those once. NEVER EVER AGAIN!!! I feel like going over to them and handing them a Cohen's card. But that's not my way.

Koh, anytime, anyplace. Just send me the address and consider him on the way I'll slap a stamp on his bum, and while you have him, please straighten him out, he's become a terror 13yo. Don't hurry him back. Keep him for some horrible chores if need be. Ummm school starts again Feb 09. hint hint. I never knew that about PHAT. I would have thought he was calling me FAT again. Awww are you calling me PHAT. I'll send ya a big juicy bone with my kid. Coz you deserve it (what a wonderful puppy)

TW, oh it was definitely a smirk (I'm guilty of the same thing). Makes ya wonder if this is how all the slim people were about us not just 6 months ago.

Louise, ok ya better not do that. They will think you are crazy. Do we have a star in our midst (incognito) oooohhh please tell me. And it won't be long before your scales are saying 71 and less.

Well this is a landmark entry.

I went clothes shopping today. With all these wonderful sales on how can a girl resist. Anyways, while feeling quite frumpy in clothes I thought were wonderful not 2 weeks ago (sign they are getting to big). I went into a shop and looked at the sale jeans. Seeing there was only 8's and 14's left, I thought what the hell so I grabbed a pr of sz 8's and headed in the change rooms. Well WTH not only did they pull up over my hips, they also did up over the tummy. Still I wouldn't quite wear them in public because of the muffin top thing, but OMG that was it, @ $10 I had to have them. They are going to fit by the end (if not before) because it is where I am still carrying most of the flab.

Which brings me to my question

How do you do the Whooping, crying, dancing, stomping Cohen's dance silently?? The emotions I had in that change room was very very hard to keep quiet. LOL I had to rush home so I could let it all out

It is the best feeling in the world

So any newbies out there, who might happen to stumble across this entry, no matter where you start on your journey, and no matter how long it takes, stick to this diet 100% and you too will be doing this same very thing in a relative short time. The shop assistants will think you are crazy but WHO CARES!!! Cohen's is the answer.

Ok oops sitting steady on 71.4kg. Don't mind that. But I'm thinking it's almost time for another vy slow week for the cm's to catch up.

Alright I just had to log this feeling.

Happy losing all

Katie

OMG Katie!!!

So much to catch up on and to congratulate you for!!

Congrats on awesome losses once again, on SIZE 8 jeans...... on being skinny!!!
Wooooooooooo hoooooooooooooo
You've got me all excited now!! LOL

Looks like I may have left PI behind now... thank goodness, about time too!!
I would love to get to refeed with you and Mette, although I have quite a bit of catching up to do in order to do that!

It's so good that everything is coming together so great for you!
Hope all the medical stuff is behaving now and hopefully all sorted too!
I had to grin at the looking what other people, especially overweight people, are eating/buying.... cause I DO THAT TOO!!! LOL

Keep going strong and keeping fingers crossed for reaching those single digits!!!

Vee
PS your goal weight is the same as mine, but I decided to put 60 down, although, I'll also probably see when I get closer to that. It still seems a bit far away and unattainable for me.

You're doing more of these ones, Katie -----> WOOT! Keep dancing and being fantabulous, pretty lady!

Size 8 jeans!! OMG!!! That's amazing!!! Mine still say size 14... I don't think I'll get to an 8, but I do dream of a 10 some day...

Don't keep the whooping and the cheering silent!! SHOUT IT FROM THE ROOFTOPS!!!!

I know what you mean about the sales katie, just got home with a couple of size 8 jeans and skirts myself today at some good prices- When I go to try something on now I will often also pick up the one a size smaller than I expect to fit me and the amzing thing is that so far it has fitted every time!
