As you can see, after the subtle hints by Debs, I have put up a new photo. Also, I have posted my after photos in the after section, so have a look there as well.

Cheers

Thanks, Daisy, I really didn't realise the other one was so bad = grumpy or earnest, stern, but it's my lawyer one

And yes, I do feel very fresh, Cohens be praised!

But, she does look 10 years YOUNGER now that she has revealed her peach faced (and peach skin all over!) self! More like a 30 year old chicky babe than the professional 40 year old lawyer we have all gotten to know! We can all enjoy the "REAL" Katrin radiantly smiling at us all "on the sidelines" as our own cheerleader from now on! Pandora

Thanks guys for all the lovely posts here in in my photos! It really felt great!

Scales up 500 gr to 57.8 today. Deviation in form of half fruit mince pie yesterday, I reckon though the introduction of carbs (50 pasta) was responsible, cos my body is used to fruit mince pies !

Was a lot of food yesterday and continues to be today. Hope I don't go up more cos don't want to have to repeat 2 days as won't finish on Saturday then!

Lately, I've slept really badly. Not the night eating that keeps me up. Itchy legs (as I used to have before Cohens) and just too light a sleep. It might be the bread, so I'll have crackers today instead (9) and for the rest of re-feed. See if that makes it better.

Off for shopping (food, haven't got any 'new vegetables' here, broccoli and carrots, finally!), then Uni to see students til late at night....

Dont' really get a Xmas break apart from half 24th and 25th.

Have a great day!

K

Hey there
Glad to see the refeed is going well. The syrup is on the way. Had to get some good tape. Finally got it done and to the post office the only way they send it is priority. Whew.....Anyway enjoy when it gets there.

Hi guys

nothing to report, really Still sitting at 57.8 so unchanged. The serves on the last few days of re-feed are huge, not a problem to live on that for the rest of my life. Just had 200 gr lamb nicely pink inside and 160 gr of broccoli and carrots and 50 gr of pasta and 1 slice of bread for dinner and am feeling really full, sipping my decaf coffee at the moment.

Tomorrow is my last day on reffed. Took me 19 days instead of 17, but the reason I had to go back was probably more a deviation than actual re-feed making me put on weight.

Then there will be Xmas, 2 days of temptation and probably eating too much. Afterwards, I intend to have at least one week of back on the program to make up for Xmas and hopefully get under 57. I kind of hope that I will be able to get to the 56 I want to be in less than 14 days, so I don't have to do re-feed again. So I intend to do just under 14 days and then eat 'normal' and see how that goes. Also, once I'm off re-feed I will exercise more regularly again.

Cheers

Katrin

Hi guys

glad to report that on my last day of re-feed my weight is at 57.6, which makes it 400 grams below the weight I started re-feed. Obviously, my body can cope with what was re-introduced in re-feed including the deviations which were things such as one fruit mince pie, 2 pieces of dark chocolate or extra crackers.

Today's amounts are the amounts I will be using on maintenance. In addition, I will be allowed to have deserts or chocolate once in a while and within the maintenance guide, but as I have treid those out during re-feed already, I don't expect any glitches or surprises there.

It's good to know that the amounts of food on refeed are really enough to feel satisfied after a meal. No more hunger.

Re-feed was great, enjoyed it more than the program, although the mixing the proteins part felt weird with having beef and chicken, or having nice lamb chops and adding some prawns cos I ran out of ideas of combination.

I will continue to post once in a while, eg after the Xmas days to report my weight after those days, and while I then have a few days of Cohens to get down to where I finished re-feed, and hopefully below.

All of you, thanks a lot for all you support. I am glad I was an inspiration to some, I am aware that some don't approve of my deviations, but for me that was an important exercise in getting to know my body and how it reacts to which food etc.

Merry Xmas!

Katrin

Good job Katrin!!!

While you may not need to keep your diary anymore... I certainly hope that you will be regularly posting to help continue to inspire other members but also those struggling with the refeed and the insanity that goes with it...

You're a vital if unorthodox member of our forum

A little variety is always good

Congratulations, you cohen graduate girl!

Fantastic for you to be at THE END of this eventful journey ! Here i am close behind on day 13 of 17 . I also plan to go back to original plan early January to get the lower number going on so i will join you then !

That of course will be a fabulous reason for you to continue on here and inspire me (as you did to dare to go LOWER than the cohen low end which i still fully intend to do AFTER refeed!) and inspire so many others who maybe couldnt quite make the deviation free club (ie ME again!) and that it is still possible to get there even it does take longer.

I do still look forward to joining you and Debs in Perth when she "graduates" and we can all don our beachwear and have a group photo!

Congrats on reaching the "end" Katrin. I think we need to experiment with the different foods to see what makes us gain so then we can either except it and work at getting that weight back off or avoid it.
I have to behave the next few days as I haven't for the last 2. Just cookies but still. Gained a lb. so have to leave then dang things along. Dranks lots of and exercised. So will keep doing that.

Hope to be able to keep in touch with you girls so when Mr.Pudge and I get over there I get to meet you's. We have talked of that trip for quite some time but have to wait till daughter graduates high school in 09. Don't figure it a good idea to leave a 16 or 17 yr. old in charge of the hme front for 2 months. No telling what would go on.
Have a good christmas am off to the hot tub.

Yeh Katrin!

No more beating yourself up you have made and can enjoy the success through xmas and new year and beyond.
What amazing timing. It will be great not to feel hungry a 200gr lamb dish sounds a bit too good to be true and
to now focus on your night eating and get that into shape so you have a plan that works for you for the rest of your life.
I can not wait to see what a typical maintanance day is. It sounds really like plenty of food.

Have a wonderful xmas and I look forward from hearing how your mainatance is going from time to time.

Cheers
Daisy.

Hi guys

all of you a merry Xmas (us continental Europeans actually do the whole do on 24th and have 25th and 26th to rest ).

My first day of 'void' went really well. Had usual breakfast, no desire whatsoever to change anything, even weighed the darn yogurt with half a mango. Lunch was re-feed size fish and veg, dinner was, I dunno, probably not quite enough chicken, but chicken wraps with lettuce, tomato, the forbidden avocado, light sour creme and sweet chilli sauce, followed by a little bit of mature cheese and crackers, and 2 pieces of Lindt chocolate. In between I have a small slice of mud cake as one of my students was having that for his birthday (no good reason), ok, as I felt like it. Yumm

200 gr down today, so working fine. Today I had usual breakfast again, Cohens program size lunch, and now it's off to the Xmas do with family. Will try to stay off carbs, concentrate on protein, and will have the Pavlova I am waiting for each year.

Would you believe it, I have not had alcohol even though I was allowed on third last day of re-feed. Don't miss it, and reading the maintenance guide, it's one of the worst offenders, as it does havoc with your insulin, so might become an anti-alcoholic.

Love being of the program, but in a way I am on it anyways, cos I don't deviate any more than I did before

Oh, BTW, Daisy, I go t the results back from my saliva tests done all through the night re melatonin etc and I am either way too high or too low, and the suggestion is to take melatonin and some other stuff for a while, and high cortisol levels speak of stress. All results confirm my self diagnosis, and I'll go to my doc soon to see what we can do to make me sleep!

My life has truly become even better than it was before!

Love

Katrin

Well done. I haven't seen the before photos, but the after photos are enough to make anyone feel in awe of how you've improved yourself. Here's to a lifetime of living under 60kg.

Thanks FatCat

I just posted in your threat re the Xmas cake and what an amazing discipline! Well done! Keep going like that, believe in yourself, walk the extra mile (in Cohens terms: once on goal, thing about whether you're 100% happy with your body and possibly go beyond), and you'll soon look at pics of yourself with the same awe.

Merry Xmas!

Katrin
