Recipe DescriptionA great substitute for mashed potato with steak or grilled chicken. You can also add spices to compliment the meat/tofu/cheese you are serving it with - simply add before cooking. Ingredients:Cauli (allowance)
Salt (allowance)
Cracked black pepper (allowance)
Water Preparation Steps:Cut your cauli into small pieces Level of Difficulty:Easy Time Needed:5mins Serves:1 Instructions:Place cauli, salt (and spices if adding) into a microwave proof jug and top with boiling water
Place in microwave for 3mins. Stir and put in for a further 2mins
Check the 'doneness' of the cauli. If cooked, strain off almost all the liquid, but reserve (DON'T THROW IT OUT)
Puree the cauli with a stab-blender and add reserved liquid if necessary - depends on consistency
Taste and season with salt and pepper (allowance) if necessary NYF Recipes
