Brisbane Catch Up

Okay, I know there is a Brisbane thread already but not a lot of action, so thought I would give this a shot!

As there seems to be a fair few newbies from Brisbane - myself included - I thought I would just chuck this out there - anyone want to do a meet and greet??

Was thinking Sunday afternoon, say around 3pm, city or southbank as it central (open to suggestions on where to meet - as long as they do green tea I am all good) and just a nice relaxing cuppa with fellow cohenites!

If anyone is interest, and has any suggestions on where to meet up, please post!

My suggestions would be:
Three Monkeys (West End)
Tognini's (Spring Hill)
Coffee Club/Tognini's (Southbank)
Coffee Club (City-Albert St)

Hello Alli,

as we started being in touch, you can count on me. Unfortunately, I do not go anywhere out much, so I don't know where is nice relaxing atmosphere to have a chat and a lovely cuppa. Although I don't know any of those places you listed, I'm pretty sure, I will find them. I vote for the Coffee Club at Southbank but any other place around is fine.

I hope more people are going to join us.

Okay, I am totally mental! There is no Coffee Club at southbank, nor is there a tognini's! The cafe I was thinking of is Toscani's! Same stuff. Or if Coffee Club is the preference, there is one in West End.

Looks like it might just be us three!! I say we meet on the Grey St corner outside the cafe at 3 and then find a table?

Argh! I'm going down the coast jetskiing this weekend, so I might not be back by 3pm..

.. however, if I do get back I'll be there, but I'm not that positive as we have lazz's kids for the weekend.

Sammie I'm with you, I really want to catch up so definately interested if I don't make this one..

Hmm... sounds like most people are rather busy this weekend - and I was just reminded last night of things we have to do Sunday making 3pm a tight deadline for me too!

How about we postpone until the following Sunday? That would make it Sunday 20th Feb, Toscani's Southbank, 3pm.

I actually have nothing in the calendar for next weekend (a welcome change!) so it would be nice to go for a cuppa!

...already cannot wait. The last thing I need right now is another...more...disappointments, therefore I hope the meeting will take place.

Ladies, wouldn't Saturday suit better any of you? Sunday is my wedding anniversary day. Although I don't expect doing anything special with my hubbie as it has been lately weird, I still want to ensure I'll be available to do something with him. What about we meet up on Saturday???

I'd appreciate if you could accommodate my suggestion as I'm really looking forward to our personal catch up!

Personally I can't make it on Saturday as I have a date with a friend I have not seen in a couple of months, but I don't mind if everyone else wants to change it. Whatever the group decides - if it is still Sunday I will go, if you guys want to change to Saturday then I shall just wait until the next one!

For sure Mich! I will be at Toscani's at 3pm on Sunday - thought I might go anyway and treat myself to a cup of tea that someone else has made for a change. So if anyone wants they are more than welcome to join me.

Well...... we COULD do something next Sunday too! But for me it would have to be morning tea time cause I have family and friends coming to my place for a bbq in the afternoon...... I can't remember a rule to say we can't meet two weeks in a row! Or even if there was one, I love to break the rules!
