Default Sleep problems

Hi

I have about 8kg to go to goal weight and I have been having sleep disturbance since Sunday. I used to just drop off to sleep without a problem and sleep like a baby through the night. Suddenly I am struggling to fall asleep and wake up between 1:30 and 2:00 and then only fall asleep again at about 3:30, then wake up again at about 4:15. My alarm goes off at 4:30 so I am not getting enough sleep and I am really feeling tired.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Thanks

I am finding this too. I get to sleep ok but wake frequently through the night.

Hi Shellbelle

Thanks for the reply. Glad that I am not the only one. Maybe it has something to do with nearing goal weight.

Your ticker looks great. You will be at refeed before me! Good luck.

Hi Roxy,

I'm not having the same problem re sleep but from reading others diaries on here it does seem to be a fairly common problem as you near your goal weight. Hope the last few kilos go quickly for you and the sleep will improve with more food on refeed or maintenance.

Rach

Thanks Rach, I cannot wait to be able to eat a bit more and the best will be not having to wait the 5 hours ........YEAH!

I think I will have to get a natural sleep aid to see if it works. I am really exhausted. I thought this only happens when you are much closer to goal....

it is kind of difficult to determine if it is stress related or your body is ready for refeed related.

since I started Cohen, I had good quality sleep from 10.30pm to 6am. That gives me at least 7 hours of good sleep.

I notice that lately (for at least 2 weeks), I can only sleep 6 hours. I will wake up at around 4ish am. Although there is no break in between but I do feel tired. This happen during weekends when I am not working so no stress too. I am starting to worry that the constant short sleeping pattern is creating some kind of biological habit.
