Hi all,

I'm sure you've all noticed, the number of times that dates posted end up with a smilie - e.g. (3/9/0 or (3 Sep 200

And it is ALL because of the 8 and the ) being side-by-side.

So, if you want to be sure it works properly, put a space after the 8 - like this:-

(3 Sep 2008 ) and it will work fine.

I had posted re this some months back, but couldn't find my post - so here it is afresh.

And, as the title shows "It'll all be fine in 2009" - here's proof:-

Thought this could do with a bump.....

At least, since we are now in 2009, we won't be seeing too many dates being "stuffed up". But, I still see the occasional "cool" smiley where someone did not know of this "feature".

e.g. someone saying their kids ages were [10 and 8] - but, they used round brackets, so it ended up like this:-
"I have two kids (10 and "

See what I mean? So, when you see a somewhere, and it looks a bit strange being there, just keep in mind it should have been an 8.
