Default Excercise ?

Hi all, I have found that I must excercise to accomodate the feeling 'that extra fuel must be burnt'.

Can any else tell me what excercise, if any, they introduiced during refeed and beyond to keep the weight off?

I am riding my excercise bike and walking. I will reintroduce the piltes DVDs soon.

hi meagain
i started going to gym, did 10min warm up, 30min, full body workout and then 10 min cooldown, if i had energy, then i would do 20-30 min intense cardio on the bike, elliptic machine or treadmil (depending on what i fwlt like).
i still continue with that program and it works well for me, so i hope that helps

As you are ramping your body up for 'normality', I wouldn't want to be throwing new things in the mix right now. It's only 2 weeks, wait it out.

I asked my consultant this the other day.. she reckons it's fine to start with something light if you wish.. but nothing too full on till finished re-feed.

I started exercising on the second or third day of refeed, but purely because i had the NEED to just go and sweat it out at a good step class, i LOVE LOVE LOVE the step classes at gym, but otherwise i would say a light workout is always beneficial if you eenjoy it, it"s really up to u and how u feel towards exercising

Default exercise and refeed

i was having a look through someones refeed diary and i seen they had their exercise written down.
Does this mean once u get on refeed u can exercise?
some days i feel like i have so much energy and i feel like jumpying on the treadmill but i have to hold myself back so i am hoping once i am on refeed i can.

Hi Sassy,
I would wait until you are on maintenance because re feed is still part of the program.
You have to weigh everyday to see if you go up over the 1kg from the start of re feed, so if you start exercising and that effects your weight you wouldn't know whether it was from what you ate or the exercise.

Default Excercise on Refeed

Hi, can anyone advise if more exercise is allowed while on refeed?

I wouldn't because then you will not know wether your weight went up/down because of what food you are eating or the excercise.
It will only be for a couple of weeks max, and then you can exercise all you want.

Hey
I did some exercise when i started refeed, because i missed going to the gym and i couldn't wait till i finished and i also found it to help especially towards the end, because ur portions are big for the "new shrunk" self. In my opinion though- I would stay away from heavy weights, cause like shell said, u don't want to gain kgs (from muscle-building) and remember to take it easy and do light exercise just till u get back into the swing of things.

I have started walking my dogs, as my weight was staying the same for a few days. It has helped a 300g loss!
