Default first weigh in

Hi Everyone! I just wanted to share with you how thrilled I am at my 4 week weigh in! I have lost 9.3 kgs in 4 weeks!!! I was secretly hoping for the magic 10 but near enough is good enough for me! I am proud to say I did it with no deviations and remained 100% Cohen's! I feel so much better now I don't have all that junk in my body and I hope the rest will just melt away like the first 9 have!

HI Pusskat. Fantastic! Well done. Keep up the good work and you WILL see the weight disappear before your eyes. Keep sticking to it 100%. My consultant always says, if you stick to it 90% you may only get 10% results, but if you stick to it 100% you will get 100% results. Keep going!!

Well done, you will be refeeding in no time, though as Christmas comes closer it could be more difficult.

Thanks guys for your amazing support I love this forum!!
Sunflower, keep at it! I kinda felt the same way at first, I wished I was already 2 months in if you know what I mean but before I knew it I was at 4 weeks and the time has gone so fast! The change I feel is amazing already and i can't wait to see what the next couple of weeks have in store for me! I have a few challenges such as my daughter's 6th birthday where I have already told myself I will not be having ANYTHING and I am so strict with myself that when I am making cakes and such for them and the icing goes everywhere, I don't even lick my fingers. Is that a bit of overkill or am I doing the right thing? And of course Christmas.......I have told myself from the beginning that I am going to stick to the program but I think the hardest thing I will have to face is the scrutiny and ridicule from everyone else. I wish you the best of luck and keep posting to let us know how you go!

I am so happy to have my body, I respect it, and always treat it with love and kindness! I honour my body for all that it is, imperfections and all. The most important lesson I have learnt from my journies with Cohens, has been to re-find self-love and respect. Staying in love and respect with myself will always ensure I remainhealthy and comfortable!

Well hello sweetness (I'm the friend that referred Pusskat to the forum).
Firstly I need to say that your are truly an amazing person and you totally deserve to be happy with your results. You can and will succeed with your new lifestyle. Well done xx

Secondly.... I know exactly what u r talking about. When I finally got to 62kgs "everyone" including my bestest friends and family would all tell me how disgusting I looked, how I was too thin and "oh you look so much older". They would tell me that it is not healthy to be losing weight so rapidly, how can u maintain it, "blah blah blah".
Let me tell you now, as ur friend, if these other people are ur true friends they will support you till the last 100g!! U know we will.
Don't let other people "opinion" sway your mind - stay strong and thin! The best advice my consult told me was..... Tell people you are doin this due to personal medical reasons. I tell you that they will soon apologize to you lol.

With regards to ur daughters birthday and Xmas, just deal with it one day at a time, and hey god forbid if you do have something you shouldn't have just don't overdue it, don't beat yourself up about it and whatever u do don't think well I've blown it now. Just begin being as rigid as before and move forward.

Omg, u r goin to look even more amazing next time I see you.
Believe in yourself and look in the mirror everyday and admire your new body and imagine it how even hotter you will be looking not to long away.
Hey I may have to lock up my husband (wink wink) lol!!!

I'm here if you need any thing. You are amazing xxxx

Sorry Kat, my iPhone auto corrected a couple of my words above eg. Overdue was meant to say overdo. I'm sure you get the jist.
If you want to drop by even for a peppermint tea and have some more support your more than welcome, as you know both me and hubby have done the program so we know it can present challenges. But anything u need just sing out xx

Well said "2boysmum". I also think at times it is just pure jelousy that people tell you you are getting 'too thin' and looking 'much older'. I had similar comments on Friday pointing out "how are you going to sustain it? you shouldn't loose the weight so fast, it is not healthy". Well, I"ll tell ya, I've never felt better and I"m not even half way! I am wearing a pair of leggings with a cross over knee lenght dress to work today and I feel great - an outfit I only dreamed about wearing a couple of months ago.

I also end up telling people it is because of health issues if they carry on about me loosing too fast and put me down. You can pretty quickly find out who are your true friends through all of this!

Keep going! you are all doing great.

2boysmum what a lovely friend you are! Well done pusskat that is a great result...Keep kicking goals. And, you know what? People are always going to have opinions. And, that is exactly what it is an opinion. Stay true to yourself because only you have the authority to decide what is good for you.

WOO! Well done on your 4 week loss! That is AMAZING! Keep up the good work and I echo what others have said above. If people don't support you then they aren't true friends! Sometimes it takes a while for people to understand what your doing but be sure in the knowledge that when you start to look a knock out they'll be asking you to give them the number of your clinic

Keep smiling!
Kirst
