It is not so much that it "takes a lot longer" - but more like "less weight lost per month" than most others. Your journey is likely to be WAY shorter than most.

But, while others might shed 6 to 8Kgs a month, you might not have such a high weight loss.

If you did 4 - 5Kg a month, you'll be done in 8 - 10 weeks (then add 2 - 3 weeks for Refeed). All done in less than 3 months. Or sooner....

Hi NGU,

Thanks for the question.

I have seen (over the years) many clinics say (remembering, so I may not have it quite right.... ) "Try your old Plan for two weeks - if you aren't feeling right after that time (e.g. still hungry, tired, no energy, etc) it may be time for a new Plan."

I'll keep my eyes peeled for such a reference and add it to the "Important Things that often get lost" thread. Great idea - thanks,

Koh

Thanks koh - I realise it's a tricky question as so many factors influence how you feel and perceive your progress - and I think it is worthy thread as many who come back again are worried about it
Have a great week!
