Default SHOW PONIES RACE TO THE FINISH LINE

Ok there seems to be a bit of friendly competition going on with Irene, Penny, Emma and I (all spurred on by that NAUGHTY Pandora ) to get to the end of our goal...

Basically we all have between 16 - 12 kilos to go - so for any of you out there who want to race with us if you have less than 16 kilos to go jump on in

I am sure it will keep us motivated and could be a good laugh with the characters involved!

I am not sure about the rules...or the start date, do we report in daily? I am no good with the whole 'numbers' thing, Magenta has been great working out the percentage of body fat - but me? Nah I am only a show pony with no such skills

Maybe some suggestions here...maybe Pandora has some ideas?

Shove over you lot - let the Wood Dragon in (read about it in my diary)

Okay - starting weight today = 68kgs
Aim - bottom of the Cohen weight = 52kgs

16kgs to lose.

Game on!!

I thought I better put this all down tonight in case I had another big drop over night

Hi Hexi,

Good girl - I was about to suggest that all show ponies state their start/finish weights (as tickers CAN change daily - then we don't know where we are).

My start weight is 80Kgs (with expected finish weight about the same )

You DID ask for suggestions - happy to help :P

Hmm I see Koh has followed me into this room as well...is he a dog on heat

Okay naughty boy - sit in the corner or should that be the "Kohorner" and behave yourself. And I swear if you soil yourself I shall rub your nose in it!

Someone told my body I'm in a race so the weight loss put the brakes on and I had no change on the scales this morning - oh so typical!

Now as I see it these girls have had a head start on me - I started Dec 10 - hmm and I think I'm the oldest at 43 (for now) so thats 2 things against me. I also have a 9 day trip to Tasmania coming up at the end of the month which could be tricky. But I'm not making excuses as I will still put in 110%

May the best nag win!

Irene

Hey no nag here!!

Me too weight actually jumped 300gms this morning (but I am not changing my ticker), actually this has probably come just at the right time coz I have felt a little bewildered the last few days...and not as 100% as I should be (diet coke, lemon juice and too many artificial sweetners) and feeling a little vulnerable thinking about non cohens food..... so I think this is an excellent idea to keep me focussed and motivated...couldn't hurt right?

Hey Irene...if Koh gets out of control just breathe some of that fire on him; singe his fur (that should keep him quiet for a while)

hi ladies and Koh,

I'm just under the 12kg mark but I would love to be involved in the show pony race I think it would be really helpful for me... I was complainging to a friend about the girly stuff i mentioned in my diary today and he offered me a cookie. I firmly said no, but it was sooo tempting. I think i really need something to focus on and I'm fairly competitive so I think this would be good for me... and although I'm 200g under the 16-12kg mark, I don't mind losing a bit more to make it fair

I'm thinking the Ox, Sheep and Dragon comments are in relation to Chinese new year, I haven't checked out Irene's diary yet but I will have a look now.

If i'm allowed to join in my starting weight is 70.8kg and my goal is 59kg (or lower)... And i would love to get there by the start of April, but am not limiting myself to that...

Nelle
xoxo

No Hexi - no scales

I had to go the (Vet) freind Lorraines house around the corner to check my weight. Are we going to be weighing in everyday? Can I weigh in once a fortnight?

Now wait a minute all you gorgeous show ponies, you cant start this race without the biggest show pony of them all ... ME!

Now lets see who we have got in this race :

NAME NOW GOAL TOTAL TO LOSE
Irene 68kg 52kg 16kg
LJ 69.2kg 55kg 14.2kg
Emma 73.1kg 59kg 14.1kg
Penny 79.8kg 66kg 13.8kg
Hexi 69.7kg 56kg 13.7kg
Nelle 70.8kg 59kg 11.8kg
Pandora 52.5kg 49kg 3.5kg
Kohinoor 80kg 80kg ZILCH

Now let me know if everyone is happy with there stats.

And you may well ask what am i doing on the list? Well since i will be keeping a close eye on this here thread, i think it is a fabulous opportunity for me to discipline myself a bit and slink back under the magic 50kg mark. I do desire to stay UNDER 51kg so altho on one hand i wont be in the real race for first one to first time goal weight, at least i can be super motivated and join in the fun!

So YEEEE HAAAA - come on show ponies, show us what you are made of! Get to those starter blocks and the gun is firing as we speak, on your marks, get set, go, go go for your lives! Get galloping!!!
