Re: Wedding Blues
Hi CEB....
Another Kiwi?!?!? Wonderful... (I am a wannabe Kiwi!) Some tips I have found is to call ahead to speak to the caterers and explain that you have special medical dietary requirements. Most places are very good with people these days. Also keep a wine glass on the table filled with diet coke or coke zero....At a function it is almost indistinguishable from red wine and you won't feel like you're missing out. I suppose that the one big piece of advice I could give to you would be that you won't remember the food but you can remember the atmosphere, the wedding itself and the magic of the night....I think if you could focus a bit more on that you will avoid feeling as though you're missing out.. Have a wonderful and magical night |

Re: Wedding Blues
Hi Deb,
Thank you for the advice, my partner was not going to come so i was stressing a bit as my friends might try and peer pressure me into drinking or going out for breakfasts etc so i now have someone there to keep an eye on things which i am very happy about! I guess that is the tough thing about this time of year there are so many functions etc and you need to be in total control of everything! I will let you know how i get on! Good luck with your journey as well, if we can all keep each other motivated and positive i am 100% sure that we will succeed! |
