Hi every one

Just wondering i have had an egg nearly every day for 73 days i know that they have high cholesterol do you think it is bad to have one every single day. I will continue while on program but i do love it for breakie on my salada so just thinking of after when finished.

What do you all think??

Annie

Hi Annie, yes i am also an egg almost every day person (except for the odd day i just cant go there and have a wee bit of cheese and crackers). Funny those eggs must be affecting my eyesight as i thought the heading was googie eyes! No problems with cholesterol etc with an egg (or even 2 if the plan allowed!) every day. The humble egg has had bad press before but i think its when eggs are combined with bacon and fried then served on buttery bread which of course IS NOT HAPPENING with us. I know on Sureslim we could have 2 eggs every day and for those with lots of weight to lose that cld have been 2 eggs daily for one year plus! Old Santa knows his stuff so trust his guidelines. Yeah, I have an egg every morning too & intend to keep doing so (well most days anyway).

My friend who is up on all this stuff agrees with everyone that it is not a health problem & in fact it has a lot of health benefits.

So thanks goodness huh.

Cheers, Frannie

Hey

My consultant said we could have an egg everyday & I was seeing a naturapath & she said it was OK too.. although her reasoning was that so long as you didn't have it with bread there wouldn't be a colestrol issue.. Not sure how true that is, but she claims that the bread causes the body to absorb the fat differently.
Frying it everyday may be an issue, so if you can poach the egg or boil instead might be better.

Yes I have heard that the more cholesterol you consume your body producers less cholesterol to compensate in other words your body balances out the cholesterol so it shouldn't be a problem.
