Can we start tomorrow, 14 April, plse send a post with your weight so that we can weekly check our progress.

Come on guys/gals, I'd love to see you all in this challenge

Im totally with you my weight hasn't moved for 10 days - It is a memory weight issue - it hates moving into the 70's I struggled before it took 3 weeks.

So starting weight 14.4 is 81.7 kilos

Game on good luck

Hey ladies - we are in it together. good day spent outdoors the whole day and eating plan all sorted with lunches packed. feel like I have done my homework like a good little school girl once i have finished packing my lunchbox for the next day in the field. Shooting films in the bush all week so its a tiring week physically for me.

Hope you all had a great day one.

Hi V(S)exy,

Thanks for the offer but I'm sticking to the 4 week weigh in only, I want to surprise myself with some big numbers so I wouldn't be able to confirm whether I dropped the 5kg. All the best

Hi Tes,

I would love to be outdoors! You lucky woman! Great, its all in the planning. What about a skewer on the side and your veggies in a foil packet on the braai? I found that nice fillet steak works well on a sosatie stick, by now I'm sure you realised we share the same nationality. Lol.

Hi Cumulus,

That's great I'm too nosy not to not want to know! Maybe next time, you must please post your first weigh in - we all love to celebrate each others successes.

Have a great week!

Talking Re: 4 week 5kg challenge anyone? 14/4-5/5/15

Good Morning Tes & Trish,

I had a deviation free week, feeling great! The big thing is weekends, but I spoiled myself with sugar free jelly this was quite a treat and it filled those nasty gaps. Last night I had yoghurt, crumbed provita and jelly, doesn't even feel that I'm missing anything. I changed my strategy a bit, I only ate minimums this week, and I had my smallest meal for lunch, I realised that it gives my body nice time to digest lunch and breakfast by suppertime.

Any tips from you guys? I'm on leave next week, I must just stay away from the fridge But I'll make sure that I stock different flavoured jelly.

Weight: 90.6kgs
Loss: 3.2kgs

I'm happy the scales are moving again after my 0 loss for the previous week.

Can't wait to see your figures, please post it.

Ouch - V Sexy - the competition is steep here - huge hugs and well done.
Trish we will have those days and thats why we are all active on this forum - to be your friend - and we dont judge no matter what you are down about - isnt that so amazing. To know people are here to care for you and you haven't even met? I love it!! So remember if you want to chat - i am here for you pm me if you like.

I have updated my personal week on my home page but can report progress on the challenge - which I suspect V Sexy may end very quickly for the rest of us.

Start - 14.4.15 is 81.7 kilos
Week - 21.4.15 is tadaaaaaaaah 79.8kg's (-1.9) (SEVENTIES CHICK)

good luck for the next week

Hey Ladies! Congrats on the excellent losses and remaining deviation free!

Talking to fellow Saffers (hearing/reading 'braai' and 'Provitas') - I need to share with you - have you noticed that the 'Provita' name is now on our crackerbread? When I first joined Cohens in 2012 it was Pyotts Crackers; then Bakers bought out the product and it became Bakers Crackers; and now it is Provita Crackers (by Bakers). Still the same awesome thing though!

@ V(S)exy - so sorry to butt in, but I'm not sure if you're a first timer, or a returner - but you are aware that you shouldn't do jelly - even Sugar Free - as it will show up in your bloodworks (if you're a first timer of course)?

Looks like V(S)exy is getting first on this race thing. Hehehe! You're totally right! We can do this together!

Thank you Tes for your thoughtful message to me. I am so reminded how helpful to be in this forum and to know people care about each other. Sometimes, I'm so ashamed to admit that little things depresses me and think it's better to keep it to myself and I always proved myself wrong in the end. I'll message you.

I haven't weigh in yet. Tomorrow morning will be my weigh in week, not sure if it's because of our time difference. I'll update you. Yay!

Hi n2m,

Not sure what will show in the lab results as the type that I use contains no sodium, maybe you know what will show?

Nutritional value per 100g serving

cal 2
Carbs 0.35g

Nothing else.

I don't overdo it either I ate 100gs a day.

Help! Vexy

Tes

Hi, he he not a race at all, nobody Wins the challenge, we only loose... the real challenge is to stay focussed. Congratulations, you've done extremely well for someone who wasn't home.

Now we wait for Trish, time difference definitely delaying your results.lol.

Have a deviation free week, it will be worth it. My next official weigh in is on 4 May, looking forward to that.
