Whats your goal???
I was just sitting here wondering what is the one thing i would like to do once i have lost my weight????? And that would be to go to Queensland and go on all of the rides at Seaworld etc... with my 4yr old daughter We went there in January but as i was to big i was the one that stayed and watched the pram while my husband and daughter went on all of the rides, i did not even want to try and see if i would fit due to embarrasment I feel i missed out on that. So my question to everyone is What is one thing your want to do when you have lost your weight? Cherie

There's many things for me, I couldn't pinpoint down to one... I'd like to sit in the swing at the playground with my daughter; go down the slide with my children; take anything off the clothing rack at the shops and not wonder if it will hide the excess weight; not be self-conscious about my size when next to other female family members; to not have to say to my children "mummy needs to rest"; to not feel like I'm boiling in my skin when summer hits; to not look frumpy; to wear lingerie and not hide my body from my husband; to wear long boots and have them actually zip up over my calves. There's bound to be more!

Mine is not to have to wear board shorts at the beach. Also not have girls in the nice clothes shops look at you like, nothing in here is going to fit you love. To be able to take complements and go yeah i do look fantastic and be self for filled.

To get married in a beautiful wedding dress (on 1 March 200!
To wear whatever I like... from whichever shop I like... To travel through Italy and France on our honeymoon and not get tired and out of breath... To be able to see light between my thighs rather than have them rub together... To just be normal rather than invisible... There are so many more of course but these are the main ones! Jackie |

Just to keep living a healthy life !!!! I know that probaly sounds boring but Im sure if I hadn't of lost my weight then my obese state would have
contributed to an early death.. Sorry to sound morbit , just being truthfull. Kaz

OH... so many...
To be healthy so I can see my son grow up! To feel good, comfortable, energetic and proud of myself. To look good and beautiful. To feel in control of what I eat and feel. To make my mom proud (she weighs 68kg, and I know it worries and embarrasses her to see me so overweight!) To meet someone new and perhaps fall in love. To be able to buy and wear ANY cloths I like, not just those that fit. To be able to fit comfortable into any seat (normal chair, airplanes, rollercoaster) To not sweat so much and feel tired the whole time. To prove to myself that I’ve got perseverance!

I think shopping would be the main one for me - to go on a shopping spree and buy clothes for myself (instead of coming home empty handed and in tears) instead of buying up big for everyone else because they're easier to shop for than me.
Oh, and I'd like to go back to my kids gymnastics class and not get stuck in the parallel bars like I did last term |

1. Avoid the health problems associated with being very much overweight. I'm already glucose intolerant, and my cholesterol is climbing.
2. Visit the tip of Wilson's Promontory. It's a 20 km hike in each direction, which I'm sure I can't manage at the moment, not sure if I will be able to even if I do get to normal weight. I want to have my photo taken at the four extremities of the continent. I already have the photos for the other three points, and Wilson's Prom is the one that's closest to home. 3. Be able to try on new clothes and think 'Yes, that looks nice', rather than 'I'm not going to pay all that money just to look like that!' AJ

Started 11/1/08. Lowest weight reached 63.8 kgs on 10/11/08 and 40 kgs down. Thank you Dr Cohen.
Back again to do it all over again, starting from exactly the same weight as last time. My health is not good and my doctor is predicting all sorts of nasty things if I don't lose weight. When I finally get down towards my first goal which of course is my weight loss I would like to:
1. Put myself out there to date again...I would never even think of doing that right now. 2. Go shopping for "normal" size clothing...not have to just buy accessories since nothing else looks right on my body. 3. Feel better while exercising. 4. Be able to walk around with my head held high knowing that I look great. 5. Be a comfortable size 8 6. Get healthy and live a long skinny life. There's more...but nothing else is coming to mind Cindy |

Wow - these goals have made me a little teary! The best thing is that the goals are attainable!!!!
Goals- to look good in Bali in April in the swimming pool and to know how to control my weight. Also may be even feel a little sexy!!! Kylie |
