Default Butter - has anyone else had problems with this?

I have had serious problems with even a little bit of butter in my post refeed world - I simply want to eat the contents of the cupboard when I put even a little bit on my crackers! I was using a canola/butter blend but even so I was amazed at how hungry it made me. Anyone else had problems?

I am finding my list of 'unsafe' foods is growing daily, butter is one of them, so I just don't use it. Not that hard now that I don't eat bread cause they tend to go hand in hand. Crackers are fine without butter, so that is ok as well, this is all very interesting isn't it?

I have to say that butter for me goes in toast (with my Sunday morning eggs once a week) or in my sauce when I have a dinner party. Occasionally I have vegemit and butter on toast (once a month?) bOther than that I don't use it but I haven't noticed any dramas when I do.
Yay - something that doesn't affect me.
Carbs and sugar on the other hand....

Possibly butter doesn't affect me, because I know the bread does and perhaps I am putting the two together, but for me it really isn't something that is necessary in my diet. If I were to make/eat a sauce with butter in it I wouldn't freak out, but would definitely take it in very small quantities. I have worked far too hard to let anything stuff me up now, so if something doesn't sit right or upsets the scales it is black listed. So much to learn.

I've not had any, Volte, so can't say, I'm afraid.

Since I've stopped eating toast for breakfast I've not had bread (too scared!) so not had butter.

It's a lot harder thinking what to have for a quick lunch now, though.

mcpsych - wine does not appear to affect me. Well, not the scales anyway

I've also had to stop buying or making things that I can eat...cheesecake or dark chocolate are purely bought for eating at a cafe....I don't even go NEAR the milk chocolate that hubby eats...I've had a little tiny bit of it and...well I don't need to go there do I?
Yes it's a different world now isn't it? I tend to save my yogurt for days when I need a quick lunch or something that can be eaten while out and about. Yogurt, crackers and an apple....

Oh to be able to have butter on bread...but sadly I am only half way and refeed seems like ages. I don't think I will reintroduce bread and butter they are harmful to my body and I can't stop at just one slice. I used to be able to eat a whole loaf in one day! So unhealthy for me. But I am not very good with moderation either so if I dare to be naughty, it's all over red rover! Am slightly envious of you successful maintainers! Hugs Andie
