New Forum Now Online ...

Well, many thanks to Koh and to Baloo for bringing this new Fashion and Beauty sub-Forum on line

As with all parts of the Forum, there will be a few basic rules. I shall put up a ‘sticky’ on the subject in due course.

This forum is for personal grooming, make up, fashion – all the fun stuff we may have avoided like the plague for so long that we have forgotten what it is like to go shopping, get a new hair style, or try out some new make up

After wearing camouflage for years we can be shy and even embarrassed when we go shopping for the new clothes we have to have – because nothing fits us any more yet we have no idea what we want to wear – size 10 is a completely different cut to a size 18, and for the previously ‘High and Mighty’ gentleman (either yourself or your Significant Other) does he really want to be wearing logo type tee shirts or other ‘street cred’ gear with that great new bod?

If you have a favourite thread somewhere about dry skin or toning up those flabby arms, pm me a link. I can’t promise that all threads will be copied over to the new forum – if it is just a couple of posts in someone’s diary, for example, it won’t make much sense to suddenly open a new thread with a couple of random posts, but let us make a start and see where it takes us

I shall put up a few ‘starter’ threads so please join in with your questions, comments or magical cures for baldness and let us all go from Frump to Fabulous!
