How Do I ... Week Two: Forgotten Treasures
This Week's Question is:
What Is The Best Kitchen Gadget You Thought You Had Forgotten But Are Now Using Again For Your Cohen's Program:
Subtitle: Triumphs and Tragedies
Triumph!! I have remembered the Pressure Cooker lurking at the back of the Plug Cupboard!
So far I have made:
• Beef Curry (eaten with Rice Cake)
• Beef Stroganoff (eaten with Rice Cake)
• Beef Goulash (eaten with Rice Cake)
• Beef & Vegetable Soup (eaten with Rice Cake)
• Chicken Curry (eaten with Rice Cake)
• Chicken Saag (eaten with Rice Cake)
• Chicken & Vegetable Soup (eaten with Rice Cake)
• Fish Curry (eaten with Rice Cake)
• Chowder (eaten with Rice Cake)
I try and have a casserole or soup meal each day. Small single serve Meals like this take less than 15 minutes in the Pressure Cooker and make a welcome change from Salad!
I try and eat a variety of crispbread each day: Salada, Ryvita, Vita Weat, Rice Cakes, so having a bowl of something is the opportunity for the rice cake which are, of course, simply puffed rice and work very well with these dishes.
Please share your Triumphs (used a lot) and your Tragedies (great idea / cost a lot / never used)
Lost 28 kilos in 2006 and 15 kilos twice since then. 25 kilos to lose this time. With Cohen's, I know that I can do it, watch me dance along the beach to a slim new me!
