Cooking in batches
Just a reminder that you can't prepare meals that contain protein and veg in batches. You cannot be sure you are getting your allowance of each accurately if you do. You can cook a batch of say 1kg of vegies - then weigh the cooked weight and work out what your portion should be cooked ie. if 1kg raw = 890g cooked then 100g raw = 89g cooked then 1g raw = .89g cooked allowance so allowance = allowance * .89 and the same for protein. But no combined meals as batches as you may get over allowance of veg in one and over allowance of protein in another. Connie
