Question Yoghurt OR Egg??

I just have to ask this question:

Even though the yoghurt and the egg options are both in Meal 1 - can I have yoghurt for brekkie and an egg for lunch? I would love this, but I don't want to deviate either.

Just wondering if anybody knows the reasoning behind this, as it's not like it's two lots of dairy in one day - eggs & yoghurt are very different - and they're small amounts.

Don't worry, I'm not planning on doing this anytime soon, but I would really appreciate any feedback/opinions regarding this issue.

Thanks, Miss O xx.

No you can''t because they are both options from meal 1.

As your program states you have to have one meal from each list.

Thanks Shell - I know this is gonna sound painful "but whyyyyyy?".
I sound like a 5 year old, I know.
I know it's the rules - and i will follow them. I just wonder if anybody knows the reasoning behind this rule?

this is a question for your clinic
but my guess is they will say " because Dr C says so"
they will be able ( hopefully) to explain to you the process that has gone into the meal choices for you and the food combinations that are set
cheers

Thanks Jlou - a very helpful link.

When I decided to do Cohen's, I said to myself "whatever Dr C says to do, I'll do it" and that's that. I could see the many positive results and that was good enough for me. As long as I stick to the program 100% i will succeed. And that's how I started.

As the days go by - and I'm getting used to the program more - I find myself getting more into it and wanting to know why this? / why that? My natural curiousity is rearing its head. It takes up too much energy!! I accept that even with an explanation, I may not fully understand it anyway. I'm going back to how I started: No questions asked - Just Do It - safe in the knowledge that someone with medical credentials has worked it all out - Trust It! That's what I will keep telling myself in my moments of weakness (hopefully there won't be too many of those).

Thanks again for feeback, Miss O.

And I don't think he would give you all the answers because it's a bit like the seven secret herbs and spices - if he told everyone why and how everyone else could do it too
