Rebecca,

What do you mean?

Do you want to know more about the mildura clinic, or are you asking whether others want to know more about the mildura clinic?

Also, it may be helpful for you to introduce yourself to everyone so we know where you're coming from.

Hello Rebecca,

Cannot comment On Mildura.

I used Geelong but it has been all over the phone and Mail. Suits me being busy.

They are always willing to talk to advise on specific details and staffed by persons who have actually lost weight on Cohens.

Tome in businessand weightloss contactability and REAL not training experience counts so if Mildura offers that they should be ok.

I use this website extensively to support me and to learn and motivate.

Tomorrow I am one month on the diet and have lost over 13kg.

Go for it, Peter

Rebecca,

For clarity, you really need to TELL everyone that you are actually FROM the Mildura clinic.

Your posts all sound as if you want information about how good the clinic is. They're a little confusing.

Thankyou Asy for pointing out… I wasted my time.

And Rebecca may I advise you a final time, that you are either:

a) Poor at grammar;
b) Ignorant of web forum etiquette; or
c) Was deliberately “trolling” (aka spruiking if B applies) for clients.

So regardless of the option you chose, I thankyou.

I now have an opinion of the Mildura Clinic and it isn't complimentary.

Hello Rebecca

Considering your apology I will put you in the b) catagory "ignorant of web etiquette"

Therefore I welcome your input here and advise you web wise to:

elaborate your questions to be clear
disclose any real or perceived conflict of interest ( owner and asker)
use the emoticons aka "smilies" ( left side of reply box) to add "intonation" to your words

So why not survey your customer quickly by phone.

Few people will say Mrs Smith is rubbish is your the owner. Some might say it is great or Terrible. But wwat does that tellyou? Nothing.

Ask your clients only two questions:
  • what do we do well
    what could we do better

If they say the personal contact is good, or
The call back to a queston left is poor

Then you have something to build upon.

Lastly, contribute here and build your profile.

Peter 14.7 denoted I am happy and being friendly.

Once again l do apologise. This is all new to me (forum). So understand your comments. I am just trying and testing different things that my clients can use to help them through their program (Lifestyle Change). As we have alot of clients who do the program via correspondence. I try to give them all the support that they need, but l know that some people need a little bit more support, hence testing out the forum. I suppose l am also wondering if any of the people that use this forum have gone through my clinic.
Not trying to cause any trouble and am not trying to build up my business.

So hoping no hard feelings.

No hard feeling FYI you used a l"aughing face" to close which probably was not what you wanted. Laughin denotes a joke or what you just read made you laugh.

Anyhow. web lesson aside, as you know I am with Geelong and knowing Mildura I can understand how many clients would be remote.

This forum is excellant and personally an integral part of my program.

Some like the hints, some the support, some the ability to see sucess like Asy (70kg+). For me I like these as well but the fact I can record in diary exactly my progress is the best feature. Guys like facts and figures. (roll eyes mean I am making a joke about myself or in this case my sex or being saracastic. The former in this case).

I would strongly recommend this forum to anyone with internet as a online support meeting avaible at call.

It is huge credit to Asy, the founder and owner, that she supports this with her time and $ (they cost to run).

Regards, Peter 14.7

Hey Rebecca!

I did PM you to ask you to disclose your ownership of the clinic but I guess I should let you know how to find your PM's!!

A PM is a "Personal Message" you can access these by having a look under the banner at the top, it'll either say "you have no new messages" or " you have xx new messages". If it's the latter, click on it and it'll open your message page. You can then get to and answer your messages!

Now, I'm quite fine with you promoting your business through the website, so long as people know where you're coming from. I suggest you put into your signature "Mildura Clinic Owner", you can change your signature in the 'profile page' (link under banner, above), if you can't work out how, let me know I can do it for you. No probs.

You're also welcome to promote the site to your existing clients as a method of maintaining camraderie. Again, no probs.

Welcome to the forum, I'm pleased to have an owner online.

Good Morning. I did to the program but lucky for me l did not have to lose that much. The reason l did the program is that l actually worked here at the office as admin lady prior to buying the clinic. My boss left the clinic in May due to personal reasons (thankgod she did) and l was left to hold the fort. After a few months l was offered the business. l grabbed the opportunity straight away And in November the business was in my name.
I brought this business because: l had the pleasure of watching clients come into the clinic and see their progress. It was also fantastic to see some of the clients when they first started walk in with their head down and would not say boo. As the weeks went on and they got further into their program their confidence/selfesteem had changed. Instead of saying nothing l gradually got hello and as the weeks went by they would bounce in the front door and telling me about the week that they had.

So in saying that l did the program to understand what clients went through in their detox, to understand the pressure of resisting and saying no (to food not allowed) and lastly to have my serotin hormone balanced.

Having the serotin balanced really made a difference in my life in general. Not just at work but also at home.

I am glad l did this journey and it is a journey that l want to share with everyone.

Our moto here at my clinic is that not only is your journey but it is ours also as we are going to be here every step of the way to help you make this journey into a lifestyle change.

Hello Rebecca

Great story

Can you outline more about the above. What is serotin? and how it effect you? (self esteem , stress , etc.. I assume.) what does Cohen do that makes it better.

Thankyou Peter

Hello Peter!

The Serotin (your feel good) Hormone is what controls your cravings and mood swings.

With activating/triggering my serotin hormone l noticed that my life in general had changed.

Before starting the program the littlest of things would set me off, l would yell and scream, my moods would be like a roller coaster going from good to bad, l would get upset quite easily etc.....

Once eating the food on the program l noticed, and not to mention everyone, else that l had changed for the better.

The littlest things that would normally set me off did not bother me so much that l could shrugg them off, l found that l had got off the rollar coaster ride, woke up on the right side of the bed so to speak every morning, was not yelling and screaming could smile instead of frown and most importantly l felt in control (and happy)

The foods help me to maintain my healthy balance that l needed. Don't get me wrong l was not the hardest person to live with but l wasn't the easiest either.

This is an example of bad serotin that everyone hears about on a regular basis. The are now blaming road rage on Serotin. The same with depression. I have had so many clients who have done the program and currently on the program that have been on depression tablets most of their life. But since starting the program 8/10 have been taken off there tablets (from there GP) as a result of their Serotin Hormone being balanced and working together with the rest of the hormones so that they are all releasing the amounts that each individual needs.

Once you have triggered your three essential hormones they will continue to work for you as long as you continue to on your lifestyle change.

Hi Rebecca

I too am with the Geelong clinic and I have found them to be ok. My advise to you is to make sure that all your appointments are kept and the support is maintained. If I have found anything out through contributing through these forums is that there are many clients out there who do not get the essential support from their clinics. It may start out ok but then it waines a little. Good luck with your venture.

Hi rebecca
I like to know the science behind things cos that's how my brain works. I was wondering approx how long it takes on Cohens before the Serotonin benefits start to kick in. Obviously I know that everyone is different but there must be a ball park figure floating around.

Thanks for your help - I appreciate your feedback.
cheers
amanda
