First weigh in.......
I have been on Cohens for three weeks and had my first weigh in today..... I lost 21cm off my body and 4.26kgs..... i was hoping to have lost more, But i'm still proud of my efforts. Anyone care to share their first weigh in experience?? Thanks Breezy |

Congrats on your loss.
We all loose weight at a different rate, l have alot to loose so at my first weigh in last Friday, 4 weeks on the program, l have lost 10.3 kgs and 43.5 cms but I always loose alot at the beginning. Now I am content to loose the weight, quick or slow, as my body wants too. Cheers Callian |

Thats amazing....congratulations!! I'm strugglong with sugar cravings which i think has set e back.How do you create that meter reading???

Hi Breezy,
Congratulations on your weight loss. I weigh weekly so after 3 weeks I had lost 6.5kg, don't be too worried about it we all loose at different rates and 4.26kg is amazing (you wouldn't get that on any other diet) I think it also depends on how much weight you have to loose, I think the more you have to loose the bigger numbers you will produce. I try to look at it like the biggest loser where they work out the percentage of body weight lost - It's not a competition and although it's hard not to compare our weight loss to others you really have to try not too. Just stick at it and you will get there. |

I was just like you..............a bit disappointed at my first weigh in because after all, we have read all about those who have lost 10kgs plus at their first weigh in. I lost exactly the same as you! I "felt" like I had lost a lot more though. Stick to it. Even 4.5kg per month will get you to our goals.............just a little bit slower than we expected. 11 weeks into the program and now I can really see and feel the difference and what fun it is to go through my clothes and see how saggy/baggy they are. I can't wait to reach my goal and go buy a whole new wardrobe!! Maybe I will be able to do that in March or April which isn't THAT far away. Keep it up, is all I can say and don't let the scales determine how you feel about yourself or the rate at which others are losing. You will lose on this program IF you stick to it 100%. That is the secret. No secret really! You may lose weight if you cheat a little but then you aren't on Cohen's then are you? ...........you are just on a low calorie, low carb diet that is portion controlled that is not doing one THING to re-program your hormones. This is what we have to always keep in mind. Good luck on your journey!! We all have our own race to run. Meet you at the finish line!!!!
