Default Olive oil for dry skin

When it comes to strategies for natural dry skin care, olive oil is the best for it. It instantly grooms dry cuticles, works wonders on hands and elbows, removes makeup, and soothes and conditions itchy, dry skin all over the body. It can be also use in our hair and make it smooth and soft.

One of the most profound benefits of olive oil for skin care is how quickly and easily it softens dry skin.

1. A simple way to use it is to simply to rub it on your body after your shower. It takes a little while to be absorbed completely so make sure you give yourself time before getting dressed.
2. You can speed up the absorption by adding a little aloe Vera. This improves the absorption of any oil into your skin. It will also take the oil a little bit deeper than it would go on its own.
3.Part of why Olive Oil is so powerful is because it’s a “humectant” which means that it draws moisture into your skin.

Also recent studies about olive oil found that it has lot of health benefits too..
The most dangerous type of skin cancer may be slowed down by consumption of olive oil, which is rich in antioxidants. Also olive oil diet can reduce diabetes, help to prevent from strokes, keeps our heart young, prevents from breast cancer, reduces depression, reduce the risk of Alzheimer's disease etc...

I find olive oil too "heavy" and difficult to absorb (I am too impatient I expect). I prefer using either jojoba oil because I know my skin likes it as it is in my Monsia skincare products or vit E oil. Both these are light, easily absorbed and I can use them for skin or hair.

For the get rid from the dry skin dryness can develop when there is a pile up of dead skin cells on the outer layer of your skin, this buildup should be removed with regular exfoliation...
