What weight were you when you started Refeed ?
What weight were you when you started Refeed ? Above the top goal weight ? At the top goal weight ? Somewhere in between ? At the bottom goal weight ? Below the bottom goal weight ? Just wondering when everyone else started. If you started above the bottom goal weight if you were happy with your timing and if you could have your time again wait a little longer / start sooner ? In my case I am in the middle of the goal range and I want to get as close to the bottom goal weight before I start - unless of course sheer hunger kicks in

My goal weight range was between 59kgs - 62kgs
I really wanted to get to 60kgs but I started refeed at 61.0kgs. By the time I finished refeed I was 59.8kgs. This is my second week on Maintenance and I seem to be sitting nicely at 60.1. I am happy with that. HTH DC |

I started refeed spot on the lower end of my target range of 69-72kg. Today, almost 5 months post refeed, I am sitting on 68kg and fluctuate between 67.5~69.5kg.

Hi Lindy
In 2006 I started refeed at 60 kilos 'dry morning weight' which had been the Target Weight in my program. I dropped to 58.5 kilos during refeed and stabilised at 60 kilos, which I maintained for the better part of a year. However, at 60 kilos I wasn't one size or another. A bit loose with size 10 and a bit tight with size 8 in a tailored pant. This time I intend to be 60 kilos AT THE END OF THE DAY before I start refeed. That would mean being about 59 kilos dry morning weight. That should make the difference to the fit of trousers with waistbands, and take care of the 'spare tyre' when sitting down. Interestingly, even at 58.5 kilos, there was still a roll when I sat down. At 58 and having had three strapping children, that is to be expected, but I would like the roll to be a little less noticeable particularly when wearing knit fabric tops and I don't like buttons to be gaping on shirts. Cheers Kristine PS: I had never worn size 10, let alone size 8, in all my adult life. I was constantly checking the size of my clothes and feeling pretty buzzy at wearing size Small in tops - and even they were a bit loose. I am 5 foot 4.5 inches tall (165cms) and of small bones, take a size 'L' in rings (or smaller), so these clothes should fit me and hang well, which they do. It's a whole different experience wearing clothes in the smaller sizer, they are cut quite differently to the same style garment in size 18! |

Thanks for the replies so far.....whar I see is just what I was thinking. Wait if at all possible until the lower weight range so that you stabilise around that weight - fingers crossed.
It is all very exciting and interesting at the minute

Yay I can finally contribute
I'm starting Refeed tomorrow. My goal weight was 58 - 61kg but due to health issues I started a little early at 62.6 kg so that's 1.6 above high GW Katie |
