![]() I will be starting on Sunday, Oct. 4th, 2015 using my very first authorized diet when I lost 46 pounds/21kilos in 2008-9. Back then, I started on the last day of October and went through the Holidays until around April/May. Well!! I just looked at my past history and I ALREADY HAVE a 3rd time diary ![]() Now this is my Fourth try. Yikes! Hard to keep all that straight! This HAS to be the last. UGH!! It will be. Mindset is the key Ms Jiggles. Have that working for you and you can't fail. Great that you have found the original diet. It will be interesting to see how your progress compares with the first time. Good luck.

Started 11/1/08. Lowest weight reached 63.8 kgs on 10/11/08 and 40 kgs down. Thank you Dr Cohen.
Back again to do it all over again, starting from exactly the same weight as last time. My health is not good and my doctor is predicting all sorts of nasty things if I don't lose weight. I just got back from the grocery store and my refrigerator is full! It is full of cohen approved meat and veggies and I'm ready to start tomorrow morning. My husband is on board now 100%. Like me, he was worried whether I was able to take this on again and was thinking...we both were thinking that I should go back to the clean eating, balanced eating and exercise and weight lifting to lose the extra fat. I've done it both ways. I lost 45# in 2012 doing it that way and it took about 6 months and I was very fit and strong. The failure to maintain after that weight loss as well taught me a lot about myself. I just simply can't yo-yo anymore for my health's sake. I can't find solace and comfort in junk food and large portions of food anymore. There has to be a better life for me than to keep going back and forth and up and down in weight... hiding from the world when I'm overweight. I'm ready to beat this. And when I reach refeed and maintenance it will be a very careful and well planned transition. I also have come to terms that I will ALWAYS have to watch my intake of food and make sure I find other substitutes for comfort and stress relief or I will be right back where I am now. I am ready. I'm on day four and doing great! I had a lot of detoxification symptoms on the second day and a little bit yesterday. I had a headache and felt ill but today is going much better. I'm with the others who say that it seems like we are eating a lot of food! It seems really hard to eat it all. Since I've been through this before and I remember that it changes and suddenly you feel like you are not eating hardly anything!! I will be back with a one week check in next Sunday! Hi all!! So glad we have all roughly started the same time!
How is everyone feeling today? I still feel really good and in control. Hoping this lasts over the weekend! Sorry to hear about the headaches, they stink ![]() I agree too and think I'm eating more than enough and actually makes me think how much snacking I used to do...whoops! Never again. Still doing well! Some foot cramps in the middle of the night, but no headaches. Some mild hunger but not too bad to deal with.. drink water and tea to cope with it!
I'm going to avoid drinking the diet soda's this time. I became really addicted to them the first time on the program. I'm eating a lot of spinach, salad, turkey, fish and prawns! Very good food and very clean! I'm averging 2 L of water per day..one cup or two of black coffee and a cup or two of tea. Talk soon! |

Weight Loss for the first week is 7.6 pounds (3.44 Kilos)!!
Starting weight was 197.4 pounds and now 189.8. So my old program is working! I am impressed with that result and very motivated to keep going. I must say I felt more hunger pangs yesterday when I was not intaking my water as regularly as the other days! On to week two! |

That's great that the old programme is working. Glad the headaches are getting less. Week two and you will be starting to settle in and getting into the zone.
