Default Flab and excess skin

I have seen when obese people lose a lot of weight they suffer from flabby skin under the arms and stomach. Is it inevitable that this will happen? How have cohenites dealt with this?

I was lucky. the first time I did the programme before having my first child I didn't have any flabby bits I lost 27kgs. This time is the third time I have done the programme after my second child and thins look and feel a bit flabby at the moment but I know that because of the increased levels of HGH this should sort itself out.

From what I can tell from the forum and clinic- because of the plateuing that occurs (ie little or no weight loss for the week) excess skin will minimise due to the nature of losing the weight on the cohen's plan, that is opposed to the loss from other programs (ie fast weight loss) as your body doesnt adjust with these other programs. Such instances occur because the body is not used to the changes and has no time to adjust.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong ...

Also their are vitamins that can be taken to increase the elasticity in the skin.

I have lost 31 kilos and quite honestly, naked, my stomach and thighs look like a somthing off a sharpei dog!!! I thought I looked bad naked when I was FAT. Its not a pretty site now that I am thin and nearly at my goal.
I am taking zinc tablets for elasticity and rubbing bio-oil on at night. My consultant says that my skin will take about 12 months to tighten up a bit. She has done the program herself and looks great so I am trusting her that what she says is right.
I just have to remember to keep my clothes on for the time being.!!!! ha ha Hey, the program is all about being healthy anyway, so, we will just have to put up with a few hangy, saggy bits for awhile I guess. I believe it is worth it whether we tighten up or not!

I lost 50kg all up ... having had 3 caesarians and lots of scar tissue, and a loss of feeling below my navel, my skin on my stomach never recovered. My arms did, and most of my legs (some floppy bits on inner thighs). I had medical monitoring of my stomach skin and no change occured in 6 months. After 9 months I had a lipectomy... removal of the excess skin with no alteration of underlying muscle (I had been at the gym for a long time and my muscles needed no work, had never seperated etc).
