10kgs in 6 weeks - New Challenge - Start Date 23rd February - End Date 6th April 2009
To make it easier (for those newbies and us oldies and for me in particular maybe just cut and paste this below and fill in the gaps and that way we have a tally and something to report back to by just cutting and pasting the updated results (with the reminder each time of your goal and rewards..... I want to go one better also to get us all thinking about our goal that we want to achieve by aiming for the big ten kgs off and a little reward.. LOL so I can keep a check on you all! Start Date 23rd Febuary - End Date 6th April 2009 I will give everyone from now to Monday 8pm to submit a start weigh in and thereafter will update results every Tuesday (sometime) Those that want to weigh in on which ever other day thats fine if your not wanting to weigh on a monday providing we have final stats at end of 6th April.. I think to keep everyone interested I will check in though weekly! Start Weight = Week 1 - 2nd March Week 2 - 9th March Week 3 - 16th March Week 4 - 23rd March Week 5 - 30th March Week 6 - Final weight Total Kgs Lost My Goal: My reward: Happy weighing everyone...Theres no set rules but just a little fun to get ourselves committed how much of the 10kgs we can loose.. Last Challenge we had Ren with over 17kgs off (awesome effort!) and quite a few of us close to ten kgs off. And even those with just a few off or even those that pulled out.. Hey atleast we are giving it a go and working towards a fitter, healthier life.... Any suggesti0ns on how to improve this challenge let me know...Otherwise lets just do it... (As I weigh in on Thursdays I will put up my start weight then. LOL that way its one less time in a week I get up on the scales... Happy fat burning everyone!

I honestly don't think I will make 10kg in 6 weeks ... I am losing too slowly, but I would love to join the challenge.

EdenGirl, Congrats for commiting to a challenge...I found it just was another goal that helped me not deviate when there were times I wanted to.... Kim dont worry its all in good fun and support... We are working toward a better healthier lifestyle and really the weight off is going to happen anyhow...Dont worry if you dont weigh in each week if you forget just its a great way to remind ourselves to stay on track I suppose.. HoneyBuns no worries I do also on Thursdays and thats why I thought give some leadway has its really only a competition for ourselves....Less I weigh the better these days....Nicer suprise Hope everyone is having a great day...

I would love to get into this too! i've been off cohens for some time, and am hoping to get a new program some time this year, but thought i'd give my old one a brush off until then... Count me in. I weigh on Saturdays, so I'll put my weight in then if thats ok. Start Weight = 94.8 kgs (Sat 21/2/09) Week 1 - 2nd March = 92.5kg (Sat 28/2/09) Week 2 - 9th March = 91.4kg (Sat 7/3/09) Week 3 - 16th March Week 4 - 23rd March Week 5 - 30th March Week 6 - Final weight Total Kgs Lost 3.4kg My Goal: 84.8kg My reward: a whole child free day of pampering, hair, nails, feet Ooo and maybe some pandoras too (thanks TwoZeds for the idea hehe)

Thanks Maria, I'm in too and one of my goals is to lose more than I lost last time on the 10 week challenge.....
Start Weight = 84.8 Week 1 - 84.4 Not a great start but a start none the less Week 2 - 82.8 That's a bit better..... Week 3 - 16th March Week 4 - 23rd March Week 5 - 30th March Week 6 - Final weight Total Kgs Lost My Goal: 74.8 My reward: Being the lowest weight I have been in 15 years will be reward enough!!!!! Hexi - of course come and play here with us! We need a few celebrations to keep us all spurred on for this challenge and if you get to take it all off (weight that is not clothes) we will all be wrapped. Welcome on board... Ange - Looking forward to seeing you get a facial or a massage.. LOL why not even if you dont quite get there do it anyhow.. LOL we are woman and we can...But I will check up on you to make sure you have rewarded yourself cause you will do it.. Or get very close to your goal... (do 3/4 massage for a reward count...) MissusB - You go girl glad your here... Means your not going anywhere.... Tito - You can do it. One day at a time. Doesnt matter really how much or how little just a little more motivation to stick it out to the end for yourself... TwoZeds - Welcome! I love the pandora bracelets and necklaces.. My hubby wants to get me one also...I reckon start picking one out.. Cause I am on a mission we reward ourselves anyhow! OK I'm in. I only lost 5.6kgs in the last challenge, so will give this one a go. For some reason, my body is hanging on, so lets see how I go this time. I have put in my weight as of today, and my hopeful start weight next Monday, but will revise the start weight on Mon 23rd. If I can achieve this, I will be joining my friends Vee & JennyC in refeed land before Easter!
Start Weight = 69.7kg Week 1 - 2nd March 69kgs -.7kg I was down to 68.3kgs on Friday then the weekend hit. Wasnt naughty, dunno what happened though. Scales were a complete surprise this morning Week 2 - 9th March- -.5kg Again, I was down to 67.9kgs on Friday then the weekendhit. Again, wasnt naughty. The only thing I think of that changes is my water consumption pattern. During the week I am drinking all day, on the weekend, I am drinking in bursts. I am sure my body holds on to fluids on Mondays just because of this challenge. I might start counting my Friday weights from now on, as they are more accurate. This really sucks. Week 3 - 16th March Week 4 - 23rd March Week 5 - 30th March Week 6 - 6th April - 59.7kgs Total Kgs Lost for challenge: 1.2kgs My Goal: to be ready for refeed My reward: Refeed!
