King Island Honey and Cinnamon Yoghurt - adapted
I tried this recipe last night for dinner and I was in HEAVEN. My fiance always has his stewed apple after dinner with the KI yoghurt - I love the stuff so I thought I'd try to adapt it. I am currently eating meal 3 for brekkie and meal 1 for dinner. Cinnamon is a funny thing - when I add it directly to yoghurt it doesn't really impart much flavour. When i put my cinnamon in a bowl and add a dash of boiling water it releases the flavour into the water. I then added a sweetner and let this cool. I mixed it into my serve of Vaalia yoghurt - put it over the top of my stewed apple and thought I had died and gone to heaven. This was seriously the best meal I had had in 6wks!. Stewed apple recipe - diced apple, sprinkle cinnamon and ground cloves and sprite. Zapped in microwave for 3mins. I actually make an apple soup because I add heaps of sprite (part of my allowance). try this and let me know what you think Amanda |
