USER AGREEMENT
It occurred to me that it's quite difficult to find and read the user agreement, which is the agreement by which EVERYONE posts on this forum.
I thought I'd post a copy of it here, and if it changes, I'll post the changes here.
The agreement does alter from time to time (as noted in the agreement) and as such may have altered since you agreed to it. Please take this opportunity to have a read and ensure you are familiar with the rules and regulations of the forum.
If the user agreement has altered since you joined and is no longer something with which you agree to the terms of, please notify me and I will be happy to remove your login.
Thanks.
asy.

The longer bit, Please read it, it'll be worthwhile, and less painful if you do:
You agree, through your use of this forum, that you will not post any material which is false, defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, adult material, or otherwise in violation of any Australian, International or United States Federal law. You also agree not to post any copyrighted material unless you own the copyright or you have written consent from the owner of the copyrighted material. Spam, flooding, advertisements, chain letters, pyramid schemes, and solicitations are also forbidden on this forum, either on the boards, or via the Personal Message system.
Note that it is impossible for the staff or the owners of this forum to confirm the validity of posts. Please remember that we do not actively monitor the posted messages, and as such, are not responsible for the content contained within. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any information presented. The posted messages express the views of the author, and not necessarily the views of this forum, its staff, its subsidiaries, or this forum's owner. Anyone who feels that a posted message is objectionable is encouraged to notify an administrator or moderator of this forum immediately. The staff and the owner of this forum reserve the right to remove objectionable content, if they determine that removal is necessary. This is a manual process, however, please realize that they may not be able to remove or edit particular messages immediately. This policy applies to member profile information as well.
You remain solely responsible for the content of your posted messages. Furthermore, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless the owners of this forum, any related websites to this forum, its staff, and its subsidiaries. The owners of this forum also reserve the right to reveal your identity (or any other related information collected on this service) in the event of a formal complaint or legal action arising from any situation caused by your use of this forum.
You have the ability, as you register, to choose your username. We advise that you keep the name appropriate. With this user account you are about to register, you agree to never give your password out to another person except an administrator, for your protection and for validity reasons. You also agree to NEVER use another person's account for any reason. We also HIGHLY recommend you use a complex and unique password for your account, to prevent account theft.
After you register and login to this forum, you will be able to fill out a detailed profile. It is your responsibility to present clean and accurate information. Any information the forum owner or staff determines to be inaccurate or vulgar in nature will be removed, with or without prior notice. Appropriate sanctions may be applicable.
Please note that with each post, your IP address is recorded, in the event that you need to be banned from this forum or your ISP contacted. This will only happen in the event of a major violation of this agreement.
Also note that the software places a cookie, a text file containing bits of information (such as your username and password), in your browser's cache. This is ONLY used to keep you logged in/out. The software does not collect or send any other form of information to your computer.
Cohen Programme copyright
It is Absolutely against the terms of this registration agreement to post any specific information about the programme. This INCLUDES quantities of foods in your programme. You MAY post what foods are allowed, and discuss same, but, to reiterate, you may NOT post quantities. This is both, against the copyright agreement of the programme, and, potentially dangerous for someone who has not been qualified and may simply 'borrow' the amounts off someone's programme on the forum.
It is also absolutely against the terms of this registration agreement to allow, suggest someone else does, or in fact give a copy of your (or anyone else's) programme to another person, whether for their use, or simply to 'have a look at'. Contravention of this point will result in IMMEDIATE withdrawal of your forum privileges.
General Conduct
Lurk before posting! We cannot stress this enough. Each forum pretty much makes it clear from its name and description what is acceptable in there or not. Be sure you have the appropriate forum before posting. If there is no forum dedicated to the topic you wish to discuss, use “Off-Topic Chit Chat”. If it’s in the wrong place, a moderator will be along shortly t move it for you. Additionally, please check to see if your topic has already been posted before by another forum member. If so, please add to their post rather than having a number of posts on the same topic.
Before you post: Before posting, please ask yourself the following question: "Am I making a post which is either funny, informative, or interesting on any level?" If you can answer "yes" to this, then please post. If you cannot, then refrain from posting.
Before you reply: Before replying, please ask yourself the following question: "Does my reply offer any significant advice or help contribute to the conversation in any fashion?" If you can answer "yes" to this, then please reply. If you cannot, then refrain from replying.
Respect the Mods and Admins: The moderators are here to keep the forums safe, sane, and secure. If they ask you to do something, please do it. Please do not harass or intentionally annoy the mods or insult them or other members. If you do not like the mods or the moderation, feel free to find another forum that suits you better.
Account Ability: Only one person may use a forum account. Account sharing is a bannable offense, so please keep your password secure.
Each member is allowed one login account. Registering with multiple accounts is not allowed.
Account Inactivity
Accounts inactive for longer than a year may be deactivated. You may reactivate your account contacting the forum owner at: admin at NewYouForum dot com. This will most likely only occur to accounts which are inactive for over a year AND have never been posted with.
What If I Get Banned?
If you break a semi-minor rule, you will be put on Posting Probation, where you will not be allowed to post threads for a specified amount of time. If you break the rules again after being put on probation, you will more than likely be banned. If you are banned, you may protest your ban to the forum Administrators, however they, and the owners have the final right of veto. Remember: access to our support forums are a privilege and not a right.
I Don't Agree With a Mod or Admin Decision!
If you would like to inquire about a particular mod or admin action, we welcome any questions in the Forum Announcements forum, or in private directly to the administrators (PM anyone with “administrator” under their name). Please be civil, explain your point, and detail your opinion on it. You may question any mod or admin you like as long as you are not rude about it.
This Stuff Annoys the Mods and Admins
Here are some general tips and posting pointers that the mods and admins do not like in general. We are including this list because, having run forums for several years, trends and catchphrases light up the place and catch on like wildfire. Unlike those other forums out there, we despise these things and feel they hinder creativity and humour.
• Catchphrases in general. Just because somebody else wrote something humorous does not necessarily mean if you do the same thing then you will be humorous.
• Back-seat modding. We have more than enough mods and admins here. Please do not act like an armchair admin.
• Internet lingo or slang of any sort. Please do not act as if you are posting through AIM.
• Remember “Spellcheck is your friend”.
Overall Community Attitude
• Keep in mind that NewYouForum is a friendly community
• Our purpose is to share, help and support others
• Always display a positive, friendly attitude
• Be respectful of others' opinions
• Allow your fellow members to voice their opinions
• DO NOT deliberately start arguments. Debates are great, as long as they remain respectful!
• Always try to "give" back to our community. For each time you find help or answers, try to help someone else out in return. You may find that what goes around comes around...
• Give people a little time to respond to your requests. There's a lot going on in these forums and it may take a little time for people to notice and respond to your request. Please be patient.
• DO NOT just make a negative statement and leave the person hanging out to dry. Although you may consider yourself to be an "expert" now, try to remember that we were all new and learning once upon a time. Take it easy on your fellow members!
• Do NOT make threats or implied threats towards other members -- even if you think it's fun.
Inappropriate Behavior
• DO NOT Make Inappropriate or Offensive Posts - including threats, harassment, swearing, prejudice, slander or deliberate insults/name-calling, or other negative remarks toward NewYouForum, its moderators and administrators, or your fellow members. Even if this is just your own personal opinion, RESPECT YOUR FELLOW MEMBERS
• Do NOT drag another member's personal business into a forum discussion unless the discussion directly involves that business OR if the member brings his or her own business into the discussion first. There's no point in ruining a good debate by accidentally (or intentionally) offending someone with a personal comment.
• DO NOT POST spam or adult content. This also includes linking to sites promoting activities such as drug abuse, gambling and links to sites containing such content.
• Even though this is an international forum, please make sure that your posts are written in English.
• We want NewYouForum to be open to people of all ages, genders, races, and sexualities, so any inappropriate or offensive posts will be deleted
• Discussion of illegal activities such as software and music piracy and other intellectual property violations are not allowed.
Forum Abuse Policy:
• 1st Offence - A polite Private Message from a Moderator pointing out the Forum Rules, in addition to the editing or deletion of the post
• 2nd Offence - Public warning on the message board plus deletion of post
• 3rd Offence - Moderators will discuss and possibly delete the user from the NewYouForum
Depending on the situation, Admin may bypass any and all of these steps and take whatever action is deemed appropriate.
Private Message and Email Abuse Policy:
• DO NOT use NewYouForum as a basis for spamming or scamming our members.
• We take PM/email abuse very seriously, and it will result in the immediate removal of your membership and ban of your IP address, without warning
Our SPAM Policy
• Please make sure that you are posting for the good of the community, (not just for the sake of self-promotion)
• Please refrain from posting affiliate links and press releases in our forums without prior approval.
• Surveys are not allowed, unless you have been given permission in advance from a Site Admin. This does NOT include posting Polls.
• Do NOT use the NewYouForum community for the purpose of 'spam' or excessive advertisements! This includes forum posts, private messages, or emails to other NewYouForum members
• Our moderators reserve the right to edit or delete any posts they consider to be 'spam'
• If we find that you are spamming our community, you will be warned by a Moderator or Site Admin, and it may lead to the deletion of your posts and/or the removal of your NewYouForum account. Unless the spam is your first post, then you will be summarily banned without warning.
Identity Theft
• DO NOT impersonate anyone whom you are not, regardless of who the other individual may be. Identity theft is illegal and will not be tolerated.
Multiple Posts
• DO NOT post the same topic in multiple forums. If you are unsure of which forum a thread should go under, just state that in your post, and a moderator will move the thread to the correct forum. Multiple posts are unnecessary and will be deleted.
• DO NOT post the same question multiple times in multiple threads in the same forum. If no one responds to your question or request, just post a reply to the same message thread again to bring the message to the top of the list so folks notice it.
• Multiple or repeated posting in order to increase your post count is not allowed.
Signature Restrictions:
• ONE ticker or SMALL picture.
• No graphs or animations.
• Three lines of normal sized text in total, whether you have a ticker/picture or not. Spaced over a total of 5 lines. (You can have two blank lines if you wish).
• You may link to your own web-site, only if it follows these guidelines:
• Linking to a commercial product/service is fine, provided it is not a product or service that competes with the Cohen Lifestyle Programme.
• Promotional text for a commercial product or service is ok, provided there are no price(s) of product(s) or service(s) listed.
• A link and promotional text for a site that is not commercial and does not contain product(s) and/or service(s) is allowed, provided the site is not sexual or does not violate NewYouForum community standards. The NewYouForum team shall be the sole arbitrator of what does and what does not violate community standards. (Examples include sites about drugs and/or sex.)
• Duplicate links to the same URL in a signature are not allowed.
Please keep in mind, your signature attaches to EVERY post you make, so people have to view it over and over again.
Font Restrictions:
• Do NOT use excessively large font sizes, as it is considered to be "shouting" and will be edited back down to the default size by the moderators
Image Restrictions:
• Unless otherwise stated, if you post an image in the forums, please keep the image size under 50K, and preferably under 300 x 300 pixels
• All avatars, must be “family friendly”.
Agreement to future alterations of registration agreement:
• This agreement does alter from time to time, and by agreeing to it, you agree to check the posted copy of it from time to time and agree to all changes of the agreement, or alternately advise the owners of the forum and have your membership voluntarily withdrawn.
Thank you for reading down this far. Hopefully your experience on this forum is a very positive one.
