HELP - one wing getting significantly smaller than the other
When I hold my arms out straight like this T, my right arm flab is twice the size of my left. I really dont know what to do. Anyone else experienced this problem? I measured my arms halfway between the shoulder and elbow (this has been pretty precise due to a tattoo and moles guiding me each time) and my left wing is nearly 3 inches smaller than my right. When I started the programme they were almost practically the same. BIG difference. I think my thighs are heading the same way as I can just see and feel a difference in this area too. Am I going to be the leaning tower of Piza for Cohens???!! |

Re: HELP - one wing getting significantly smaller than the other
shrinkage happens in strange ways and places, should even up
dont panic just yet ( unless you actually topple over )

Re: HELP - one wing getting significantly smaller than the other
Rockabette,
Don't panic yet as Mark says shrinkage happens in many strange ways. You could try seeing a remedial massage therapist for a lymphatic drainage massage, one side of your lymph system may be working a bit more effectively than the other... and it's nice and relaxing even if it's not that Connie

Re: HELP - one wing getting significantly smaller than the other
Yes don't panic.. I actually had one thigh quite larger, by 2cms, than the other during weightloss.. it does even out.. I have no idea why this happens but our bodies do redistribute the fat in those times when we seem to not lose as much... During refeed I found things balanced quite nicely..
Don't flap too much, you might go in circles |

Re: HELP - one wing getting significantly smaller than the other
Hey rockabette, I have one calf significantly fatter than the other. Its a new problem for sure as before I put on weight they were the same. I know this because my boots are tight on my right leg. I thought it might be one pair of boots that were badly made but its all of them. Funny thing is, I dont use one leg more than the other...
Im sure it will even out in time.. if not we can join a circus! Andi |

Re: HELP - one wing getting significantly smaller than the other
If'n you was a guy, it could probably be explained easily! Once enough weight has been lost and you can actually see it again, activities resume and maybe they need to switch hands. For you ladies, I dunno, suppose it could be the same!

Re: HELP - one wing getting significantly smaller than the other
seriously folks
we all use one leg more than the other, it usually goes with whichever is your dominant hand this can be tested by walking with your eyes closed over a reasonable distance- you will tend to veer to one side - hence people who are lost in the wild tend to circle

Re: HELP - one wing getting significantly smaller than the other
Wow, that's freaky, Mark...
I was having a convo with my BF about this exact thing just 2 nights ago! Apparently he saw something about it on TV... They put people in a field and asked them to walk in a straight line while blindfolded, and they videoed them. All of them were POSITIVE they were walking in a straightline, but in reality they were all doing circles! hahahahaha. Cheerio!

Re: HELP - one wing getting significantly smaller than the other
Funny reading this thread, I have noticed the same happening to me but it is one breast is becoming significantly smaller than the other, looking pretty lopsided, so I hope this evens out as well
