Default Skin: Dry Skin on Feet

G'Day

Has anyone found that the skin on the heels of your feet is more prone to cracking after a couple of months on Cohen's?

I didn't take fish oil for the first five or six weeks, and the skin had become quite fragile and dry

After a couple of weeks taking a daily capsule of fish oil, the skin became a lot softer and more elastic

As you came closer to the end of the program, or during refeed, did you notice any changes to the skin of your feet?

What did you do about it? Soak you feet in warm water with some baby oil, or have you got a secret family recipe handed down over the generations?

Did you have any problems with dry skin and how did you manage this over the months on the program?

Cheers
Kristine

I have quite dry skin anyways. So I always make sure that I give the feet a good soak and buff, then cream up and put socks on

I use feet cream by The Body Shop. It has helped me to a certain extent.

I use a product made by "Du-It" and the cream is called "tough hands" they also have a foot one but I just use the hand cream for my feet,

My hands are crap anyway and have used many creams but this one is the best, my Auntie is undergoing chemo and her feet were really bad so I sent her a tube of this and she is much better now.

Gay'zin I bought some of that Du-It tough hands. Have only been using a week or so, and haven't used it every day, but I definitely think it is helping - have been using it on my hands and feet.
