Exclamation Deelight Diary

Here I am at the launch of my new life. My daughter and I have just joined this amazing group of supportive people. We have been inspired by my sister ( Mum Chum) who you all know. She shown such courage and determination and her results are proving it and as a family we are all so proud of her. I can only imagine when she attains goal and refeed who she will be. I suspect - UNSTOPPABLE ! Now for my own journey with a daunting 26.5kg to shatter. I commenced the program intrepidly 7 days ago and over the last few days I have been following all your posts and coming to the realisation that this may just work for me as well. So I week down and 2.3kg gone forever. That for me is a huge encouraging start. I look forward to getting to know you all. Mum Chum has only ever raved about the support and comraderie you all have. It is awesome.

Welcome Deelight. I am only a little ahead of you (into my third week) and already seeing and more importantly feeling results - better mood, more energy, more positive outlook on life....I am sure you will quickly get all this too. The other huge bonus i have found is that food has become secondary very quickly (mainly becuase there is little choice so the addiction of it seems to be lessening) HUGE bonus in my books.

*blush* thanks Deelight - I will put up the swimsuit before photo when I am mentally ready to do that. It hides nothing!!

Are you in Brisbane? If so I hope you are coming to coffee on Saturday. I am so excited to meet others on this journey (and bring some clothes to swap - including some that are too small for me still but I have decided I don't want to wear again anyway)

Hi Deelight

Welcome to the Cohens train. That is a good loss for the 1st week. When I was looking at your pic I thought you had stolen Mum Chums!!! But sisters so there you go. Defintely take some pics and post in the album section. They certainly make you realise how your body has changed expecially if you think your not losing weight fast enough. Good luck with the journey, you should be fine.

Cheers Bronnnie

Start date: 04/02/10 just 2 weeks YIPPEE ! !
Start Weight: 86.7kg
Today's Weight: 81.3kg

Loss to date: 5.4kg

Well I have to say I am really happy that this is working! I cant believe I am nearly at the 80kg mark. Has been ages - ha , probably a few years since I have visited the scales down there. Its interesting this thing I call my portion control eating plan! When I think of it as a specially designed prescription in my head I take it more seriously. Also when I know that if I didnt address my excess it was only going to create future problems for my health and so here I am. Actually, I am not finding it too bad at all. I love the fact my body is being balanced and can feel the difference even at this early stage. I have become aware of HABITs obviously that are now glaringly obvious. Like: popping that extra piece of WHATEVER into my mouth rather than the bin, Taste testing everything ! ! ! - I mean to say, can you serve it if you dont know if it tastes just right. Well - right now thats actually how you get it in my home. I have literally had to take something out of my mouth as I just popped it in without thinking. Aggg - wonder why the kgs were increasing???
I really enjoy reading everyones posts but my computer is being painful - sometimes I feel I am taking little nana naps whilst waiting for a page to load. Hence I dont always respond when I would love to . Anyways - onwards and down wards. Till next time: to be continued

Well done - thats exciting - am just a wee bit envious. Now you have to change your ticker - actually I think its better to do before you post lol - but thats ok, once you change it, it will change everywhere anyway - amazing what technology can do. Sorry I can't help with speeding up your computer tho lol

You are responsible for giving me the courage to give this a go. So pat yourself on the back. every other program has been tooooooo hard - this is so easy once you get in the grove so I am very grateful. If I ever go to deviate I think , this is going to cost 10 years less of enjoyment of grandchildren. Ha - the way I am going I will have to wait that extra 10 years to even get em....... Lucky you !
