Default Red Capsicum vs Green Capsicum

Don't panic I haven't digressed from my plan and green capsicum allowance. i was just wondering if someone could tell me what the differences are and why Red capsicum isn't allowed?
I much prefer Red to Green but will go the distance with green!

All capsicums/bell peppers start out being green - they change colour as they ripen. Red capsicums are sweeter because of their high sugar content - green ones have a low sugar content. You will notice that a lot of the higher carb/higher sugar fruits and vegetables are not on your program...

which really goes to show that this is not a "calorie based" diet, as per 100g there are only 6 cals difference between the two of them. red of course being the higher

wonder why they don't make the distinction between chillies
