Gender
Instead of creating a separate group, forum or secret handshake, we've decided to create a Gender field in your profiles that you need to fill out. Depending on what you choose, you'll get a little fancy graphic next to your name, as you can see in mine. We will be turning on the "Force Gender" switch sometime tomorrow so you will be directed to your profile to select your option. If you are the type that doesn't like to be forced into doing anything, you have until sometime tomorrow to go into your Profile (Click on User CP in the top left of the menu), Select Edit Your Details then select your gender. If you would prefer to keep your Gender to yourself, please use the "Unspecified" option. Unfortunately I was over-ruled when I wanted it named "Other". If you have having trouble determining your Gender, please send a photo of yourself to Andy46.

Also, would everyone PLEASE check their Date of Birth, while in their profiles?
If you don't want anyone to know your date of birth, that's fine, there's a little menu there where you can set it to Hide all details, or show all details or several choices between.. The system sends out a "happy birthday" message on your birthday, and at the moment it sends out about 100 messages on the 'default' birthday of January 1. Invariably, I get at least 5 people sending me angry emails saying "It's NOT my birthday...". So, I'd appreciate it if you'd fill this in while you're in the system. asy.

The System has now be set so that the gender field is a mandatory field. Please remember to update your birthday while you are in your profile page.

For those of us who have scrutinised a photo of themselves , and are STILL unable to make a determination , will admin be ASSIGNING a gender ?

Hello Andy,
After further consideration , I would like to CHANGE my gender from female to male , in order to lose weight faster. Can I acheive this via my 'user CP' ? LILY
