Hi Alicia,

Welcome to the forum and congrats on picking the best diet you can for yourself. You will notice a difference right away and that will keep you motivated. The weight loss is so do-able.

Be prepared for a few tough days at the beginning. That will be your body detoxing....totally normal to have headaches and be really hungry...I recommend making sure you drink tons of water (3 liters a day) and take a multi vitamin. If you get weak you can also take an extra multi vitamin.

Get yourself a ticker...it's helpful. Here is the link on how to do it.
http://newyouforum.com/forum/showthr...ghlight=ticker

If you have any questions just ask. There is an amazing group of people here and your questions are answered in lightening speed.

Good luck and keep up posted on your progress.

Cindy

WOW, how totally awsome that you all replied so quickly Thank you so much for your encouragement. I am really surprised at the amount of food we eat ... I have eaten breakfast for the first time in years and battled to finish it, and now I've just finished my lunch and found that portion pretty big too. Hopefully I wont get hungry because I really am a food monster - LOL.
Take care all

Alicia, you sound something like me. I was "full" the whole time I was on the program. I also never ate breakfast, I also rarely ever ate lunch but would eat when getting home from work around 8:30-9:00pm and then eat a huge meal and continue snacking till usually 1 am. Wrong! This programme forced me to relearn how to eat and when to eat. Best thing I ever did!

Welcome to the forum, you'll like it here. Most do.

Hi Alicia, welcome to the program. I was originally a bit doubtful when I first heard of this program, but am totally hooked now. The 15 weeks have absolutely flown by & I have lost over 20kgs. Some people have lost more in the same amount of time. It did take me about 8 years to gain 25kgs so I am really pleased with my loss. It is a bit difficult at times when everyone around you are eating all these yummy foods, but, believe me it is worth it to stick to your plan. My friend has not even been on it for 3 weeks & has lost over 9kgs. She is now totally hooked as well & has set a goal of 40kgs by Christmas. I am totally convinced she will do it too. Best of luck,
Cheers, Steph.

I must be the weird one because I like seeing people around me eating the yummy stuff. Just looking at how they enjoy their food kind of satisfy my cravings.

Welcome! Doesn't it feel fantastic to know absolutely that this plan will work! I simple rule "don't deviate" - that can't be hard to remember. I'm with Carrieanne_c though, wouldn't say the meals are big!! But, I feel satisfied after my meals and not feeling bloated is a fantastic feeling!
