In the book it just says CABBAGE - so it would mean all types I should think - and using the same logic when it says Green Capsicum (not red or yellow) - if it was only green it would say so - well that's my interpretation .

Thanks for that Andy ... I think you have confused me more LOL

Red cabbage is 'red' (actually it is a purple/red) should I use the theory of not eating red capsicum? or the theory on 'cabbage'???

Maybe I will ask the consultant? Just to be on the safe side but red cabbage is lovely in a salad!

If you couldn't have it (Red or purple Cabbage) it would say - Cabbage (Not red or Purple) as it does with Green Capsicum (not red or yellow) - you van eat a green one but not the red or yellow capsicum as the longer they stay on the plant - they go from green to red or yellow and the sugar content increases.
It does not say that with cabbage - just eat the huge amount you get and enjoy - red or green or purple - its all just cabbage - I grow them in my garden and they are just that - cabbage green or red.

But if it is still confusing - ask your consultant they can tell you !!!!!!!!!

Happy cabbage eating and enjoy !!!!!!!!!

We all have them on this road - but that's the beauty of this forum - it will give you all the information and with it support for whatever - mate we are all in the same boat and that is why you have to read that plan over and over - and then still ask.

All the best and hook into that cabbage - I can only eat it once a fortnight - my dad grew them when I was a kid and we ate and ate cabbage for weeks.

Have a good one - smile and enjoy !!!!!!!!!

The programme book should be identical across the clinics, it comes straight out of the system.

Some clinics give out additional information, and this may be what Magenta's referring to.

Just FYI, to back Andy up... Red cabbage IS allowed. And VERY yummy.

Actually the book just says cabbage and its the good old shopping list that has Cabbage (red or green) - Hexi2 - If you can you will need to print out a shopping list for every vehicle x 5 and each hand bag x5 - its the hand book of shopping - and just to get your mind right it does not list things like shoes and dresses and jewellery so just remember that - "if its not on the list you can't have it" - and that applies to everything a women wants to but - see its not just a bloke thing its a Cohen's thing as well -

have a happy party

Andy

Within the booklet I got it list of the foods I can eat eg; the allowed vegies and the portions but I didn't get a 'shopping list' as such, so I just wrote down things that were listed for my shopping. Is this the same or are you talking about something different?

Yup that's it. The list of foods.

I suggest you type them into a doc and print them out to keep in your purse.
