New Diaries Explained
First off, it is important to remember that it is ONLY your New Diary that is "awaiting Approval".

By that, I mean that YOU are free to wander around the other forums - maybe go visit your new friends that have been Approved, and their Diaries are now in "the big pond" (Personal Diaries).

Even if you don't know anyone, go check out some Personal Diaries anyway. You may find :-
1. People who live near you (you might wish to catch up in person?)
2. Your Diary is likely to appear in that section soon - so make friends before that happens, so that "others know you" when your Diary is promoted.
3. You may find people with similar amounts to lose (some may already be months ahead) - but you can learn from THEIR journeys before you even get to where they are.
4. You might just find you "click" with some people - their writing style, their way of approaching life, their responses to work colleagues, etc. If they click, they click !! Make your self known by replying in their Diary.

As Asy pointed out in that other "sticky" - it is important to apply for Approval on the same day you start your Diary.
Go here to do that : DIARIES REQUEST PAGE

But, the converse is also true. i.e. It is important to Start a Diary when you seek Approval. Currently, we have 3 members already Approved, but they have NO Diary that can be moved

As all can understand, we DON'T send PM's to "notify you" of Approvals and/or changes. What we DO, is to signify Approval by "moving your Diary into Personal Diaries" - and we leave an expiring "re-direct" link.

So, if you come to New Diaries, and your Diary has been Approved, there will be a link you can click that takes you to it's new home !! That link will disappear - usually after 7 days.

How to use the New Diaries Forum
In this forum you may set up your NEW diary.

Once you have done this, you MUST request a diary approval using the DIARIES REQUEST PAGE.

If you do not request a diary within two weeks of starting your diary, the diary will be deleted, so, if you already have your programme, please make the request at the same time as when you start the thread to ensure you don't forget.

Once your diary request is verified, your diary will be 'approved' and moved to the 'personal diaries', so if you can't find it in here it's been approved, so please have a look in the Personal Diaries section. Well, either that, or it's been two weeks and you haven't requested a diary approval, and your diary has gone...

Please keep in mind that diaries are ONLY ALLOWED to be kept by people who HAVE an official Cohens Programme OF THEIR OWN. If you do not have a programme, or have not already ordered your programme, please do NOT start a diary. If you've ordered your programme, the two week time allowed between the first post and the diary thread having to be approved should be ample to receive your programme.

New Diary has been moved
As you know we have an Approval process to ensure that only people with a Cohens Plan of their own are allowed to have a Diary on here - 'cos we are a "Cohens Support Group".

So, we introduced a "New Diaries" section for those who were itching to get going, but hadn't yet received Approval. It is a good place to make new friends, support others, etc. BUT, now and then we move a bunch of "Approved" people's Diaries into the Personal Diaries section.

What does that mean to you? Well, when we move them, we leave a Redirect that will say something like "Moved: Fred's Diary". Simply click on that, and it will take you to Fred's Diary in the Personal Diaries section.

Of course, once you have replied to Fred, you will NOW be in the Personal Diaries area and NOT the New Members Diaries area. Maybe that will seem confusing to you if you are new. Soon enough though, you will learn how to "navigate" around this site.

The easiest way to "Get back to square one" is to go right to the top of ANY page, and click on hte big flowery-looking NewYou Forum logo. That will bring you back to the "Home" page - then, look down to the Diaries sub-section, and click on "New Members Diaries" to get back again to your diary, and your new mates.

Soon enough, YOU will be Approved (and Moved) and this will happen to your Diary too. One EASY way to always be able to find YOUR Diary, is to Add it to your Favourites in your browser.

Just today (14 Nov 09), after some weeks of delay, there are MANY people whose Diaries are now Approved, and are being Moved - so expect a wee bit of confusion while this happens. I hope this helps to explain things - if you have any questions, feel free to post a Reply to this thread,
