Skin
Hi all, so with the amount I have to lose I am quite concerned about my skin. I'm worried that I'm going to be left with loose skin in the tummy, legs and arm areas. I'm not sure how others have found it - especially those that have had to lose quite a few kgs.
I am currently nourishing my skin with a mixture of jojoba oil, sweet orange e oil, grapefruit e oil and lemon grass e oil. I rub all over and wrap myself lightly in plastic. I do this twice a week (sleep with it on overnight) in order to assist the elasticity of my skin. The wraps are not tight, the plastic is used more to keep the skin moisturised during the night. Let me know what has worked for you. tx |

Re: Skin
Hi LB, has this worked for you? Such an interesting idea.
Loose skin is something I am concerned about too, and would love to hear any tips from people who have been able to lose large amounts of weight. SP |

Re: Skin
Hiya Sixty+ So far, so good. I have also had a tip from someone who has lost a great amount of weight....do a dry loofah to get rid of dead skin. Then shower and moisturise with any type of cream/oil that is good for the skin. Jojoba oil is great, bio oil is great. I think it also takes time, so before just chopping off once goal weight is achieved, wait and see how it shrinks - then go have a tummy tuck.
I've got my tummy tuck savings fund going at home. |

Re: Skin
Hi LouBean & Sixty plus,
I can say that even after losing 55Kg my skin is shrinking back nicely. Much better than in previous weight loss attempts. I have taken extra zinc since I started to help with this as it is supposed to help the skin to repair. this combined with the HGH seems to be working. Cheers |

Re: Skin
Thanks so much Kazaj Is your zinc part of a multi vitamin, or extra? How much do you take?

Re: Skin
There is zinc in my multi but I take an additional 15mg of zinc every morning when I take my chromium (which is also additional to my multi) in the morning.
Hope that helps! |

Re: Skin
Agree, homemade soaps are very beneficial for skin. Most of them contain natural oils, which make our skin more soft and flexible.
