Default Shell's Diary

Started 20/8/2007 111 kg Goal Weight 58-64kg
1st month 99.3kg lost 11.7kg
2nd month 93.2kg lost 6.1kg total 17.7kg
3rd month 86.5kg lost 6.7kg total 24.4kg
4th month 83.4kg lost 3.1kg total 27.5kg
5th month 78.8kg lost 4.6kg total 32.1kg
6th month 74.2kg lost 4.6kg total 36.7kg
nearly 7th month 70.3kg lost 3.9kg total 40.7kg (will update on 3/3)

START NOW LOST
Arm 37cm 30cm 7cm
Bust 104cm 87cm 17cm
Waist 92cm 70cm 22cm
Hips 115cm 92cm 23cm
Thigh 120cm 90cm 30cm
Belly 121cm 88cm 33cm

Thought I would put my stats out for all to see
I am getting closer to target weight every single day, which I am so happy about, never thought I would get this low in weight in a million years!
When I started it seemed so impossible, to go so far, I thought 70kg would have been way enough for me!!
But now I am here I will be trying to get as low as my body will let me
"BRING IT ON" I say

Woohoo - another 60's chick coming up - there's a lot of it going around (on here) right now !!! Go, girl

And, just in case, a bit of Hexi's magic Cohens dust for you

And me? I'm a tall skinny-ish bloke (BMI ~25.5) and have been this way forever, so I haven't faced (weight-wise) what you all have !!

Thank you very much for the fairy dust, it worked!!!!

IM IN THE 60'S !!!!!!!

Only just, but I'm there!!!!
The sprint I am on with the others, has been very helpful and motivating.
I also didn't stress when I had no loss for a few days this week, as I would have normally.

Onwards and downwards on the scales!!!

Hi Shell!

FIRST let me say CONGRATULATIONS on FINALLY REACHING THE 60's... You and I have the same goal and we were similar weights when we started Cohens! I totally understand you excitement! Its been a long time coming!!

Thanks so much for sharing your measurements! I always find it really interesting to compare and see how different we all are and see that we really do carry the weight sooo differently. I have carried mine in my torso but I have always been pretty happy with my legs... looking at your measurements....it was the other way round for you? Would that be right?

Anyway... I am so excited for you and cant wait til you start refeed!

Blessya

Well only another 100g down this morning.
You just seem to be steaming ahead with the weight loss and then "bang" your body puts the brakes on!
But every day that passes, you always hope that the next day will be the start of another good weight loss patch. And every day that go's by, it just has to get closer

I am seeing my consultants today, got my size 8 Target jeans on I have only seen them once since I started- & that was back at the start November.
Been waiting to wear them, I cant believe they are 8's!!!
I feel like cutting the tag out and showing everybody

Have a great day everybody

My health is not good and my doctor is predicting all sorts of nasty things if I don't lose weight.

Back again for the support. Still think the diet and the forum are the best ever, but too old to do it again. Now losing again slowly on maintenance diet. Ticker shows next intermediate goal only (5 kilos).

Well heres something funny for you.

Be careful what you say - Re cutting size 8 tag off jeans & showing everybody:
Got home from seeing Cohen's ladies & low and behold I HAVE MY SIZE & PRICE TAG STILL ON MY JEANS !!!

Lucky/unlucky it wasn't hanging out for all to see!!!

Had a HUGE cack when I realised

Thank you Dr Cohen

Hmmm I could make a fortune!

Morning all.
Magic dust must be working 200g down today lets hope it's the start of LONG stretch of numbers going DOWN

2 days without the multivitamin (excess B6) ?

First day it really helped with the hunger.

Yesterday I was starving in the morning, and thought well that didn't work! but I worked out it was over 6.5 hours between breakfast & lunch- doh!!! In the afternoon I was fine
So today I have my breakfast with me at work and will have it about an hour later than usual - that should help

Hey shell

not only are you in the 60s, but you have less than 10kg to go, and to think you started with 49kg to lose.
you're a champ woman. You go over and tell those other show ponies who's boss.

thanks so much for reading in diary and writing sweet things
hope you have a great day

do you mind me asking how tall you are, we started at practically the same weight, and we have the same Cohen's GW, mine is 62-65, I should probably change my ticker to reflect the lower range, oh man, that means I need to lose 50kg (44.6 now)
