Default JennyC's Diary

Hi all

I started my program yesterday my starting weight was 133kg my goal range is 67-70kg. Very excited about the challenges ahead. I have been reading alot on the forum which has been of great inspiration and help.

Feeling pretty good this morning...was hungry yesterday but got through the day, I really think drinking the 2-3 litres helps alot especially in the first couple of days!!

Can't wait for everything to settle down. A few friends who have done cohens said they rarely felt hungry once they got further into the program.

To all the newbies seems as though we are all starting round the same time.. can't wait to keep an eye out for progress reports

Welcome JennyC

Well done for getting through your first day! Those first few can be a little tough while your hormones settle down and you detox, but after that the feel good serotonin kicks in and you feel great!! Especially when you see that fat melting off! Drinking that water really does help with the hunger and getting rid of that fat!!

Keep going strong!

Vee

Thanks for the warm welcome... I have almost finished day two and had a
really good day a little hungry but no headaches. Jumped on the scales out of curiosity and had already lost a little will wait till end of week to update, am excited though!!!

Made my husband some meals today to freeze to make things easier for me and resisted all temptation to taste my pasta sauce!!! I didn't realise how much picking at food I did...NOT ANYMORE

Welcome, Jenny. I can relate to that picking at food. The only thing I've really struggled with on the diet is not tasting anything that's not part of my food plan. I've been cooking my husband the same food as I'm having, adding potato, corn, etc. and he gets his own muesli for breakfast. He's loving Cohen's food, wants to keep eating it when I finish.

Back again to do it all over again, starting from exactly the same weight as last time.

Back again for the support. Still think the diet and the forum are the best ever, but too old to do it again. Now losing again slowly on maintenance diet. Ticker shows next intermediate goal only (5 kilos).

HEY JC!

WELCOME!! It sounds like you are off to a good start! Checking those scales in the beginning really is encouraging isn't it!? I know that it was seeing the constant decrease in the number that got me hooked at the beginning... I just couldn't believe it was actually happening FOR ME! I found something that actually WORKED! OMG! ... and here I am... virtually finished!

You too will get to this point! Just stay focussed and do your best to not let anything get in your way! Dont let any occasion or event or person stop you from achieving your goals!. Those things will all be there next year! You can do this!

I look forward to hearing more of your story!

Blessya

Default Week 24

Hi all, A late post today have been busy doing my mums and sisters hair and having a bit of a Xmas BBQ.

This week I have had a loss of 1kg pretty happy with that as my weeks are getting more busy and this week will be a killer.....6 days and 4 late nights...the joys of being self employed Then 2 weeks holiday yipppeeeee!!!!!!!!!!

Have struggled with BM's at the moment....I think I need to go back to a kiwi and a apple a day as I have been indulging in mangoes and I think thats whats "clogging me up" Have also been trying some phsillum husks in my yoghurt but really not doing to much I don't think. I have read the thread about constipation and may try a few different things if the kiwis don't work.

This coming weekend will be my last weigh in and check in on the forum for almost 2wks as we will be up north at my dads for xmas & new year. I am planning on being as 100% cohens as possible....I have really come to realise Xmas is about family not food. Food is fuel. I am so happy that the fog is lifting and realising what my new life on maintenance is going to be like!!! Bring it on. I was hoping to be 80kg before I went on holidays but I would need a reaaalllllyyyy good week...

Hi Shanara thanks for the fairy dust and the invite to the water challenge....cause I am away for a large part of the time I will be participating from afar!!!!!!!!

Vee....it's great fitting into these smaller clothes....I do have to double check the tags occasionally

Koh...the whole gaunt in the face thing is more a paranoia from what other people are saying to me.....I like my new face...hehehe

Gorgeous one....thanks for dropping by. So great that you live in Brissy. Will definately have to organise a meet for the brissy people in the new year

Have a great week everyone

Default BM

Hi Jenny C re: the BM issue - I took Faithy's advice (I think it was Faithy) and had a kiwi with the skin on and it worked a treat. Good luck and have a great time away. Two weeks holiday sounds fantastic. As we were similar starting weight and you are way ahead of me I look forward to seeing your progress

Cheers,
Rose
