No Weigh May!
Hi Guys!
I thought I’d start off a challenge that is a bit different to the others! NO WEIGH MAY! Just as the name suggest it’s all about making a pledge not to weigh ourselves during the month of May! Now, I figured that staying off the scales for a whole 4 weeks might be taking it to the extreme, so I figured it could be in 4 legs. So, if you can stay of those pesky scales for 7 days you are a NO WEIGH MAY CHAMP! Of course, if you can manage the whole month of May, well more power to you!! I think then you would be crowned The Ultimate Grande Supreme (stolen from baby pageants titles on Toddlers and Tiaras). I’m not sure if Baloo would grant any ‘awards’ for the challenge, but it would be pretty cool! Imagine a cute little scale as the award ribbon?! And a gold sparkly one if you make it through the whole of May! My weigh in just happens to be Wednesdays, so I would propose myself to weigh in on Wednesday 1st May and either a) not weigh for the whole Month, or only weigh myself on Wednesdays. Anyone up for the challenge?! You can pick your ‘starting day’ in the first 7 days of May and go from there, either pledging to be a weekly weigher or go the whole hog and not weigh until June!

Sounds good to me Lil Doll... as I am having weekly updates with my consultant (via phone) I will do the weekly weigh in though a month without weighing does sound tempting..... I weigh in on a Monday so for me the first/last one will be Mon 6th May.

Ooh Wow!! Im going to ponder this for a bit.
I cant believe it but I have had a week where the scales havent budged down at all but are up 200g (ARGH!!) been a bummer and thinking it might be due to been alot more active and stressed this week? Anyway, I need to decide !?! What the heck!! Count me in Illl weigh tomorrow At best even doing it weekly will be a real challenge and I do love a challenge!! Thanks for organising lil doll mwahXX |

Been thinking about this over night and have had 2nd thoughts so don't think I will enter this one... will keep an eye out for the next challenge. Good luck to those that do enter.

Ok i will jump in the deep side i might have one weigh in with my consultant at mid may as i will be renewing my contract for 3 months.

Howdy howdy!!
So, tomorrow is the 1st of May! Obviously this challenge was a little much for some, and that's okay, but if anyone just wants to add there own little challenge within the challenge at anytime throughout the month of May, go for it!! ie: You might come in and say 'I challenge myself to not weigh for 2 days' Just a place for anyone to come in and pledge a little bit of NO WEIGH MAY into their lives!! I plan on weighing once a week throughout May. Tomorrow is my regular weigh in anyway, so tomorrow is a weigh day, but then nothing till the Wednesday after. Eek!

The idea of not weighing daily freaks me out...you girls are way stronger than me. Hmmm...how about...ooooh...I will weigh tomorrow morning for the first of may and then not again till Monday morning. That will be my first week done Hmmm. I'll try

I weighed this morning... Oh Lordy I hope I can last the week. My trick it going to be drinking water as soon as I wake up... No way will I weigh myself after water. haha. And I am not one for mid-day weighing or night time weighing... It's all about getting about of the bathroom in the morning unscathed! Good Luck, No Weigh May-ers!!!

Hi let the scale detox begin today officially my first day will weigh in once on the 9th at my consultants office it will also be the first time weighing in at her office without knowing what i weigh and then the rest of the month no weigh in........good luck to all my fellow no weighers

Go RG!!! As I was still snoozing in bed this morning I was thinking 'what would one extra weigh in matter?.. I just want to see if there's been a change since yesterday, no big deal'...Well I must have been thinking about it too long as when I finally got out of bed I was running late, then I was thinking 'HA! I don't even have time to weigh!' but once I got to the bathroom I was thinking 'how long does it take to weigh? One second... Come on' haha, I didn't give in and I feel okay. Day ONE done.

I did it! I did my first ever week off the scales in my whole cohens career! (This is my third and final Cohens tour). I am so darn impressed with myself!!! Unfortunately I have had a really crappy stressful week just in general, but I do think being off the scales would have lowered my stress, but the general life stress was probably bigger than ever, but it might just have balanced out. I am really excited to weigh in tomorrow. I am scared I haven't lost much, I am scared I have gained, I am scared of all sorts of scenarios!! Eeek. It is a TOM week, so one never knows what goodies he's going to bring to the table. My sleep has been ridiculous this week as well... And yeh I mentioned the stress! Gahhh! I will also be doing some strenuous work tonight, and we all know 'exercise' can affect our weigh ins, so that's another thing I am worried about.

I got rewarded with a good loss. I wonder if it was related? Probably not, but it sure made the big loss all the more exciting seeing as I had no idea it was coming!

I'm still going strong in no weigh May... Only 2 more non-weigh days and it's weigh in!!
I am thoroughly enjoying not weighing everyday. It's surprisingly freeing. I don't miss it like I thought I would... The only issue is I get a little anxious about my actual weigh in day and it is a complete surprise. Not that I can change anything I do even with sneaky peeks showing no loss, but it's nice to know. haha. How's everyone else doing??
