New...waiting to start.
Hi everyone,
I had my blood test yesterday morning and now I am just waiting (impatiently  ) for my plan. I am a 32yr old mother of 5 daughters, who has decided that it's time to get healthy for not only me, but my kids too. I did lose 45kg by myself 2yrs ago and was maintaining well until I made a bad decision to take a high stress job and move away from all friends and family. Slowly over the past 18mths the weight has crept back on...plus 20kgs!! Have moved back to my hometown now and ready to start fresh! I can't wait to get started next week some time!!

Hi,
Welcome to the forum, the waiting is the worst isn't it. Good luck on yopur journey, have a look around, read a few completed diaries and get your head in a good space and you will be flying down the scales in no time. Connie

Welcome. The programme is awesomw I have lost nearly 20kg, in under 3 months!
Start a diary so we can all enjoy your journey! This place is a fantastic place to give you support and answer all those great and tricky questions. I have found organisation is the key to the success of this program. So happy losing of finding you again1

Hey there - wow what a super mum you must be - how old are they all???
I see you and i have similar amounts to lose so we will be around here together for a while. You have made the best decision - now just plug in and get to know us all and we can run this race together.

Hi FM,
A big welcome to you. As the others have said, "Plug in here" and cruise your way back down the scales. I recall some saying this the easiest, yet hardest, thing they've ever done. I think that comes down to "losing weight is the easy bit" but "getting your head to catch up, and keep up" can be the hard bit. Still, there is much on here re suggested reading, and other "mind" help, so that you can do this and win. BTW, I absolutely LOVE your avatar !! Was that your idea?  Koh

Just a big happy hushpuppy I haven't "done" Cohens - Asy knows me from way back - she invited me to "take a look" here - I did, loved it, and stayed... And me? I'm a tall skinny-ish bloke (BMI ~25.5) and have been this way forever, so I haven't faced (weight-wise) what you all have !!

Good luck for your start. Am waiting to get going myself and a bit anxious about the ups and downs of the first week.
Keep us posted on how you're going and we can keep each others spirits up when the going gets tough  ff

Thank you all so much! I am finally starting tomorrow morning!!!
 I am all measured, weighed and 'Before' photographed. Just off to the supermarket to grab a few last minute supplies and I am good to go in the morning. I am so excited and yet not...hehehehehehe. It's just that first week or two I am dreading, but I am ready for it!!
