I'm in nz, but I think any lite/low fat mayo is fine, by vinegar do you mean balsamic? I don't think there's a specification in that either. Yogurt and curry powder, I think someone from oz will have to help you there sorry! I use de Winkle sometimes, but my favourite is Cyclops but not sure if you have those brands over there.

I hope some one from oz can help you better than me lol

I use Jalna no fat yoghurt with the green lid.
I use as nice a vinegar as I can find.. Watch the balsamic hasn't got added sugar. I make my own curry powder from the curry thread.

But yogurt needs to be less than 2% fat I believe.

Im in oz, ny consultant said Tamar Valley (Coles) or Black Swann (Woolies) greek yogurt (the low fat one if u go with Black Swann). I was told to use "Clive of India" curry powder only. I use Coles Italian red wine vinegar (no salad dressing type balsamics r allowed) and Kraft Classic mayo (has the heart tick). Hope that helps Good luck!

Hi Zoe!

I use Tamar Valley yogurt or Yoplait Yoplus.

Ooooh be careful of Clive of India- it's a NO NO. Go and read the curry thread!!! Well, it's not a full on no no but it does contain an ingredient that can't stop some people's weight loss!!!

I use Herbies curry powder- in mild (I think).

I just the low fat mayo.

I have only found them at Thomas Dux but you can get them online: http://www.herbies.com.au/

And the list the ingredients on there too, so the website is veryyyy handy

Hi Zoe,
Just piping in about the curry - my consultant said to use clive of india.... Perhaps check with your consultant when you get your plan.
I didn't know about the yoghurts so I'm happy to read we can have Tamar Valley Greek Yoghurt as I love that one and would be a nice change from eggs every day.

With the Mayo, is the Kraft Classic low fat?? I have been using the Praise whole egg light as its my fave of the lights - its not as 'fake' as the others

She also said that though this diet plan will change my life, it is very difficult to stick to such a strict eating plan.
So I basically have two questions to ask:
If I follow this plan will I lose weight fast?
Is it really a difficult plan to stick to?
If you follow the plan you should lose weight fast compared to most other mainstream eating plans (Jenny Craig, Weight watchers etc). Most people average around 1kg per week over their weight loss journey. Others are closer to 2kg per week on average - depends if you are male (lose faster) or female and how much you have to lose. I think their are some sticky posts with polls of how much people lose in the first 4 and 8 weeks. You should check them out.

I think it is a really easy plan to stick to because the rules are set in stone (I found I would "cheat" on weight watchers - starve myself to save up points and then eat really crap food). The food is enough to satisfy and sustain you, and within a very short time you should lose cravings for sugar and unhealthy foods. I found very quickly I was able to be around people eating all kinds of food and just stick to my own meal, or eat nothing - had no desire to eat the food that was not on my plan. 99% of the time on Cohens I am not hungry, so there is no extra desire to eat extra food.

Hope that helps.
