Question Do you keep going to eat potatoes?

Hello I am not sure, I chose the right place to ask it. But this thread about tips and tricks on Cohen's, so I may get an advice here too.
Do you keep eating potatoes (especially, fried potatoes)? It's my favorite dish from childhood, I can refuse any dishes, but not fried potatoes
Maybe, someone knows any tips, how to prepare it in healthy way

Hi Amber,
Have you got your Cohens Plan yet? There are no potatoes at all on cohens.

Hello, Anna.
I don't have potato in my plan, of course. But I can't live without it. I know, how stupid it sounds

Hey there!

You can only have what’s on your vegetable list, potato is not on mine so I cannot have potato. The killer for me is/was coffee with milk, I just cannot handle it without and as a shift worker with 2 small kids going without coffee really hurts!

From my experience, deviating from plan massively delayed my results. I would get frustrated because I’d be 100% all week other than coffee and only lose a small amount of weight. If I stick 100% without coffee I’ll be done and on refeed in around 12weeks or less so to me it’s not worth it! I want to drop the weight, refeed then in maintenance land I can enjoy a coffee with milk here and there!

My other suggestion is to experiment with other veggies you may not normally use! I am loving asparagus at the moment and pre cohens I NEVER ate it! So maybe you will find a substitute you love! Also fresh herbs can make the meals more exciting/tasty!
Hope that helps!
Tess

Thank you for your reply, Tess. Especially thanks for the story from your own experience. I know that I risk a lot if I'm going to keep eating potatoes.
I began to think about purchasing the air fryer. This article <<link deleted>> says this kitchen tool can prepare it very healthy.
Also, I found this video, where guy shows very good recipe of preparing potatoes <<link deleted>>
Hope, I am not alone, who can't refuse one product.

Sure enough, it turns out Amber is just another spammer !!

In the end, that topic was just a leadup to the link where she sells a magic air-fryer that cooks potatoes in a healthy fashion. What we don't need.

I haven't "done" Cohens - Asy knows me from way back - she invited me to "take a look" here - I did, loved it, and stayed...
And me? I'm a tall skinny-ish bloke (BMI ~25.5) and have been this way forever, so I haven't faced (weight-wise) what you all have !!
