Super 10 sprint
Good Morning
The last stretch is normally the hardest part to do, this is where many people fail to stay motivated even with the goal insight. Is there anyone that have 10 or close to 10kgs to loose that would like to join me? The purpose of the challenge is to help one another get through this, to inspire each other and to share your top advice (or secrets that you've gained during the journey. This is not a show off - rather a lift you/me up as we run the last few kgs. Hope to have a few joining Vexy |

Re: Super 10 sprint
I'm in.
I am just "maintaining" for the next 2 weeks due to an airway infection and my body resisting any rapid loss ideas. I am standing still for the past 2 weeks. So I called up my clinic in Booragoon and spoke to my consultant. But I still have about 5-8 kilos to go before goal after losing 35.8kg. I am here for support and to support you! I will trade all my tricks, ideas and hints. Good luck, wishing you a quick finish! |

Re: Super 10 sprint
I'm with you. I am on my last 7 pounds and I feel like I am stuck. I am so not losing any more weight. I am afraid because this weekend we are going for a family holiday. I hope I can be strong to stick to the plan. Would love to hear how you are keeping faith in losing the weight?

Re: Super 10 sprint
Hi Everyone,
Thanks for getting on board with me. Super excited that you are joining me in the last part of our journey. I'm sick at the moment, flat in bed with Bronchitis, but I requested my GP to prescribe everything sugar free, so I'm good to go. The thing is you must go back to the basics first, check your water, weigh your food and make sure that you absolutely eat 5hrs apart, this is very important. When you have to eat out and they can't weigh your food, measure with your eyes, by now you know what a portion for you looks like. I would say if your family wants to know why you are eating so little, tell them you had something earlier that left you bloated and you don't feel like much food, also you don't want an upset tummy further.(something in those lines) For holidays, I think that it would not be a problem for your hubby and kids if you stick to your plan, because they know where you started. Get yourself a really fancy water bottle, one that you want to show off and make other people jealous, they must be drooping for not having one. Zazzle.com makes personalised bottles there are so many on line. Also when dining out, stick to proteins (only one type- don't pick chicken and meat in one meal) and salads. If you feel like dessert (which you may not have on the plan) ask for sugar free jelly or baked apple straight up with cinnamon and sweetener on the side, with nothing else, if they don't have don't eat anything else. Most important if you cheated, get back on track immediately. We are currently smack in winter, I found drinking water to be a challenge at first, but then I made it Luke warm and I can at least drink it like that. For a little motivation visit this site, and look at things that suit your new body shape and see if you can recognise your old shape. http://www.shopyourshape.com/body-shapes/. To me there is nothing else beating the fact that I will be able to wear all the nice things without worrying if my size would be available. Please visit mindoverplatter.com, kinda the same thing as Dr Becks, but online and free. Go into the archive section, this will open up the way you think and also give you other tools that you might find handy going forward as we are on the dawn of refeed and then life after the diet. Please look at the recipe section, there are quite nice things that you can spice up your meal plan with, don't eat boring things that make it feel like you are deprived. Last but not least, remember who you are doing this for, and reward yourself with something you really want, not food. This was my humble 5 cents and it worked great for me, if you don't agree that is fine, we are all individuals, phew! Luckily! Otherwise life would be extremely boring. Anyone else please share what worked for you, we need all the help and inspiration that we can get, new ideas always welcome. I'll be posting my weight on Monday, those that want to weigh and post it, please do. Have a nice day. Vexy |

V
I have bronchitis as well. The body WILL NOT LOSE WEIGHT whilst fighting viruses. Therefore, get better FIRST, then rapid loss. I experienced the same and called up my consultant. She said to get better first by adding extra grams of meat and the same weight to veggies for 2 weeks and get 110% healthy again BEFORE attempting rapid weight loss. Just food for thought. Good luck - I will be back next week with a healthier body and embrace my last 6 kilos! Keep calm and Cohen on! |

Re: Super 10 sprint
Good Morning
Hope you all had a splendid week. Bronchitis something of the past, I picked up 1.2kgs during this episode but dropped it, now I'm at least back at the same weight before I got sick. I'm following some diet "kick in to weight loss gear " advice from a fellow cohenite for the next 10 days, can't wait to See the result. Have a good one. Vexy |
