Default Chai Lattes

Has any one come across a good chai latte sachet or mix that's low on sugars? There's a few that are fat free but have sugar added. I love these as a break from my no milk no sugar black or green tea, especially now the cooler weather's here. I usually have 1-2 a week as a treat but would prefer a lower carb version if I can find it.

My understanding is that you can only have 'pure' tea no mixes allowed. Nothing to say that you couldnt look into making your own version of Chai with tea bag and spices...

Maybe check out google and see what you can come up with

I took my infuser and some chai tea to school today, and had that without milk or sugar instead of the cheap tea bags that are provided. Did find that nice for a change. So will make do with that idea for now. I am not a coffee drinker having 1-2 cappucchinos a month in my previous life!! I appreciate variety in teas, so may take more of my own tea bags to school too.

if you're on maintenance, you are allowed chai blends.. its definitely nicer to have the real loose leaf tea, but chai is originally drunk with milk and honey. i make mine with all hot water and a tiny bit of soy milk and sweetener.

jarrah do a chai latte that is 40 calories a serve, but full of crap hehe most cafes do chai tea, as well as chai lattes but try always get the tea as the lattes have lots of sugar and carbs

Cherry

Have you tried Byron Chai - great mix which I am sure you can have on maintenance - as we can have whatever we like - just see how your body goes with it.

yep,

if you are on maintenance - you decide what you can and can't have ....try some and see which is best for you.
