Hey All,

Thanks for your welcome back wishes.

I was delayed in starting up again because of the flu. I have shopped again and am now ready to go tomorrow morning. I'm so looking forward to it.

I was hoping I could get my original diary back up and running but it doesn't seem to be working that way.

I will be on again tomorrow afternoon to report in.

Cindy

FINALLY STARTED!!!

Doing great so far. I just realized I haven't really been drinking enough water...so I have a bit of catching up to do today. Not hungry at all so far...although I just finished my snack.

Planning on having a nice lunch...one of my favorites last time I was on plan. Stuffed Zucchini w/ricotta, mozzarella cheese and herbs. YUM!!! Then chicken and asparagus for dinner.

I'll check back in later.

Hey Cindy,

You are doing great! The important thing to remember is that you are here and you are doing it and are back on track! Try not to put importance on the daily weight - it is the end result that matters and you know this works!

Cindy,

You are doing great! The most important thing is to get right back on plan - and you are doing that. Don't dwell on the mistakes - just pick yourself up, learn from it (which you did) and move on. I am proud of you. Just take it one day at a time and even one meal at a time.....this is the put one foot in front of the other time and before you know it, you'll be crossing that goal line.

Thanks Fla and Tiny,

I"m officially back on Cohens 100% today. During my 5 days in Vegas I gained 2.5 lb/1.13 kg. I am going to try not to beat myself up too much anymore.

It is so good to be back on track. I am telling you...I did NOT feel good after eating bad foods. That has got to tell me something...I hope I listen...and remember that feeling.

Clean, healthy foods...that is the way to go.

Anyway, glad to be back and thanks everyone for your support.

Cindy

Hi Skin!çThanx for poppin by mi di! I never been to Las Vegas but I have heard that the food there is pretty good and inexpensive! My cousin goes out here all the time. I went to LA when I was 15 and my brother lives in outside of San Francisco. I am sure you will be back on 100 % now that you got the stress out of your way. I had a similar gain when I deviated and it all came right back off aftr 4-5 days on the plan.
Stay strong California Girl!

YIPPIE

The scales were good to me today. I am back down to where I was a week ago after eating bad for 5 days. Phew!!! Glad to only have lost one week of weight loss and not two. This was a great lesson for me and I am not interested in stress like that again any time soon.

Carri...Yes...the food is amazing in Las Vegas. Way too distracting. You should take a trip there when you are off plan...it's such a fun place to visit.

Thanks Shell, Carri & Tiny...I really am relieved.

I've been noticing a good weight drop since I cut my 3 crackers allowance down to 2 a day. I'm also eating smaller fruits. They have these yummy tiny apples around lately that are so crisp with kind of a sweet/sour flavor...I'm really loving them and realize that a small piece of fruit is enough for me. And I'm not missing the extra carb.

I started doing it the day before I left for my trip to Vegas and lost 1 lb/.45 kg over night...that doesn't usually happen to me. Then when I came back and started Cohens 100% on Monday by Tuesday I'd lost 2.5 lbs/1.3 kg (I'm pretty sure some of that was water weight) but since then I've lost about 1 lb/.45 kg a day. I think it might be the key for me...and I'm realizing that carbs just don't really agree with me...I hate to say it because I LOVE them...but I'm kind of excited to be aware of the negative effects they have on my body so I know to be more careful in the future.

I'm not trying to tell people that they shouldn't eat all there carb and fruit...it just seems to be working well for my body right now

I also realize that the weight loss isn't going to be that great everyday...in fact when I get on the scale in the morning I think that some how there must have been a mistake the day before and expect the scales to go back up some. Even if they do go up a bit I'm ahead of the game and am feeling really good about it.

Cindy

Hey Cindy - I think for my entire program, apart from the first days where they say you have to eat everything, I regularly had at least one cracker less a day than in my program - I always kept one in reserve in case I was famished after dinner. I only got two fruits so usually had both. I'm finding since stopping deviating recently and a week fully on the program the weight is dropping really quickly again (2 kgs this week where I've only had one meal out that I didn't cook and weigh and no deviations at all).

You seem to be going along well so lots of fat melting vibes your way to speed you to goal.

Cheers - Kay.

VERY HAPPY
The scales were kind to me this week. I am almost at my 1/2 way point.

Still keeping up with the smaller fruits and either only two of my 3 portions of crackers or 3 but a bit less of them each serving. It seems to be working for me.

I have also incorporated a large portion of spinach to at least one meal a day. I remembered when I was on the Lindora Diet many years ago they told me spinach helps the weight loss process. I think its helping me along as well.

Thanks Km and Carri for stopping by.

Cindy
