I have my plan!! Have been reading and rereading it today, will have a phone chat with my consultant today or tomorrow hopefully and make a start. My goal weight seems so low! 59-62kgs! Plan looks great though and was stoked to get the recipe book as well

I am really an 8, but my feet are fat so also a 9. haha. I merge both results to make my own goal range.
They also take age into consideration. Funnily enough, when I originally started my goal range was 60-63... Then they added age and it went down to what it is now. Oh and they sell certain multi Vs at the clinic, but I use the balcmkore's sustained release, but not sure if it's available in NZ?

Thanks for that Missy! Mine are a 9. Interesting about age as well! I have just emailed my consultant to organise a time to catch up over the phone. My 5 year old has come down with chicken pox over night so we won't be going far over the next few days....

Spoke to my lovely consultant this morning and I'm all set to start on Monday! Going out to a quiz night tonight so will be enjoying my last few drinks for awhile

Well here I am - day one!! Breakfast done and dusted, yoghurt and kiwifruit and some rooiboos tea and have planned food for the rest of the day. Time to get started on the water I think. I have son 5 and son 12 at home today, youngest is recovering from chicken pox and eldest has a sore throat and cough - the joys of winter! Have a fairly uneventful week planned this week so if I do feel a bit off I can stay at home and hibernate

Awesome work on day 1 - bring it on eh! Even though I've been on plan for a little while we're around the same weights now and the same goal too! I'm only 163cm though

I'm doing this! Start date 11th June 2013 Got close to goal then FINALLY fell pregnant after 3 IVF rounds! Lost 17kgs in 2013 Had baby girl July 2014 Back again March 2017 to lose 20kgs Really want to be lucky enough for IVF to work again so come at me Cohens! |

Thanks Babybear! Just checked your ticker - yes almost exactly the same! Weighed and measured this morning, my last wee food blowout for awhile yesterday, naughty I know! Am feeling a bit rubbish already, I'm a bit of a sugar addict so I'm expecting the detox won't be very much fun . Please tell me I won't be this hungry the whole time!!! Hour and a half til lunch and counting

Lol, first time around I picked up my programme from the clinic on my way home from work on a Friday, and had fish and chips for dinner - I could have been worse, I didn't go too crazy. Started on the Saturday morning.... I guess I was lucky, I think until I hit refeed, I only really had two days where I found I was really hungry!
Just keep on keeping on, the first few days will fly by, you will have everything organised and sorted and you will be smashing it! |

Hey Kiwi!
The first few days are definitely the hardest!! I am a sugar addict too and detox headache hit me almost instantly!! I thought it was an unrelated headache... but nope, super toxic! haha. Just drinks heaps of water and flush those toxins right out!! Also... try and remember hunger is NOT an emergency. You will survive being a bit hungry and then your tummy will adjust to the smaller potions and you will be pumped of energy and laughing all the way to goal!

Thanks lovely ladies, I really appreciate the support. Unfortunately day 1 ended up being a right off . I was doing so well up til 4pm, had had a bit of a headache and was a bit nauseous and then starting vomiting all of a sudden so after that I just couldn't face dinner. Have emailed my consultant and will wait to her what she says, I'll probably start over tomorrow when I am sure I am feeling better, don't want a repeat performance
