Vision Board
Hi Everyone,
I'm new and about to start on Monday. I have about 10 kgs to shift over the new few months. I lost eight kilos on my own 4 years ago after working with a nutritionist and going to the gym and eating better in a great lifestyle. However I found myself at a plateu I cant seem to shift. My husband and I saw Cohens on Today Tonight or ACA, and I decided to give it a go. I'm having sessions with a lifecoach, and finally realised my emotional eating. I'm finally ready to let go of teh person I used to be and moving in a positive direction forward to the person that is on the inside...who I want to be. I found what reallyhelped me to get to this point is the life coach who brought up my emtional baggage and realised why I emotionally ate. Also by starting a vision board, a daily reminder of what I want to look like, achieve and be in the future. Cohens looks like a lot of preparation, but I think I need it. I havent put myself first in a long time and its time to focus on myself...my needs. Any tips or great advice would be wonderful. |

Re: Vision Board
welcome Anita firstly you have made the best decision to do Cohens Its the best thing I have done for myself in years I'm week 18 and have lost 24kgs.
You will find after a few days that the preparation becomes second nature especially when you see your weight moving and you get into the zone. I usually do my weighing of food in one go so that its all done for the week saves time and I found it really good using the meal planner for the 1st few weeks so I new exactly what I was having. I always make sure I have my crackers with me and a piece of fruit just in case you re out longer than intended at least you have Cohens food with you. Also always have water with you. Good luck you will never regret it.. |

Re: Vision Board
Hi Anita
Welcome to the Forum Ten kilos in this neck of the woods isn't much, but I hear what you say and sometimes we simply cannot do things by ourselves The Clinic I started with, the Receptionist did the program for 7 kilos. she was very tiny boned, and on her, 7 kilos was a lot of weight I am doing Cohen's #3 for not much more than 10 kilos, and I know for sure I couldn't do this just by flagellating myself and 'being good' There has to be a plan and there has to be a goal This won't take you long, and you will learn heaps on the journey Cheers Kristine |
