PMS
PMS is a.................!
I tried searching for posts about how to cope during this time. Im exactly 7 days away before the start of my period, and my cravings are to the roof (not to mention the emotional spaz it brings). I dont know if it is the same for everyone, but when Im PMSing (usually 10days before the period), I have cravings like anything (burgers, pizza's and ofcourse chocolates), and I dont seem to get full = ergo, always hungry. It is unfortunate that my 2nd week OP coincided at this time, which makes it feel so unfair! *stomp! stomp!* (i know thats the hormones talking).. Then the weak feeling is there, ie. feeling rundown, irritable, and just not in a good mood. On my previous attempt, I was about to have my period when I was on my first week, and then periods didnt come the next month. I went back on my old posts, there were the same complaints of feeling rundown but I dont remember it being this difficult. So any tips on how to survive this? I know everything will be bright and shiny after TOM but for the past few days, I feel every day that this is just too tough. thanks!

Oh I can totally relate to this!! Probably why I've felt this weekend that everything seems like a mountain of work to achieve, not to mention the lollies my housemate had on the bench, I was looking at them thinking I could devour them in one breath...... But during this time I have to preach to myself to take it a minute at a time, get through this day and be super proud I'm not deviating!!! I have endo and PMDD too so my mood swings are horrendous and emotions, wow!!! I can cry just looking at a puppy!!!
I wish there was a magic fix BUT we should be super proud of our strength because we are doing this, we aren't deviating and we will get through it xo |

Well, I am happy I am not the only one feeling this way. It is sooo difficult during this time to be determined. The thing is, I really feel like a lot of emotions inside of me just want to explode...I am sad, then irritated, angry, tired...not to talk about the sugar cravings!!! terrible :/ I have PMS right now actually and I am really dreamig of a brownie :/well, a the end I will just try not to think about it too much and eat some fruits instead....

I know exactly what you are talking about, I feel psychotic at times, you wonder where the hell the emotions are coming from when you are pretty sure you feel 'normal' the rest of the month!! I also think back to when I did eat what I felt like and have to say, my memories don't tell me I enjoyed the taste of the food, it was just getting shovelled in and I didn't do it for the flavors........ I don't know if that helps you but our cravings are just that, cravings- try having some chromium to help with the sugar cravings! My PMDD will be starting this week so it will be interesting to see what happens to my cravings BUT I've been taking all the vitamins recommended and I'm lucky so far with the cravings.......
