Lonniecee, Peter147, Kristine, meagain & Baloo's New Years Cohens Sprint
This diary thread will keep track of the mini-Cohen's race Lonniecee, Peter147 and myself will be starting Monday January 7th. There is no prize for the winner other than bragging rights. But then again, I'm not sure how we can decide who is winning. Total Weight Loss and maybe % weight loss in some sort of formula. But really, it's just to add some competitiveness to our goals to drop back down to Cohen's weight after we bloated somewhat.
To see why we bloated, you can check out our individual diaries but suffice to say our old ways crept back in and we weren't attentitive enough to stop them, until now. So, weight in Monday morning, Jan 7th, after you morning calls. I'll declare my goal weight here: 77kg. Bottom of Cohen's range and 1.3Kg lower then my lowest ever during refeed. Peter, Lauren, what are yours ? |

Humm, my goal weight.
80kg and 18% Body Fat, I suggest we compete as follows: Total Wieght Lost. x 1 Total % Body Fat Lost. x 1.5 Highest Score Wins. Peter

My scales don't calculate %body fat so at the risk of being a dill (actually a well established fact at times LOL) how do I calculate it?

Re: Lonniecee, Peter147 & Baloo's New Years Cohens Sprint
Not easy lauren. I'm happy to just calculate %weight lost. It's fairer than actual weight lost.

Yeah thats correct and fair as it is harder for girls to build muscle. Us Guys should still measure BF.

Re: Lonniecee, Peter147 & Baloo's New Years Cohens Sprint
For some motivation for the others I sarted on the 1st and have lost 3.2kg and 1% body fat. I know this does not count but I am happy it is start.
FYI I was 92.1kg and 26.4% Body Fat. Now 88.9kg and 25.4 Body Fat. On this basis I lost only just under 1kg of fat but 3.2kg of wiegh so it must be water etc.. Still a weigh to go to 80kg and the harder goal of 18% Body Fat. Time to set up new ticker. Peter

Re: Lonniecee, Peter147, Kristine & Baloo's New Years Cohens Sprint
Of course you can. It's open for anyone who has finished and lapsed a bit and in need of a mini-cohens sprint race. The little competitive spirit is there just to increase our motivation.

Re: Lonniecee, Peter147, Kristine & Baloo's New Years Cohens Sprint
Morning All
Start Weight 66.25kilos Goal Weight 58.00 kilos Interestingly, weighed 67.00 on 1st January, so have come down 0.75 kilos in one week - the only change from pre- New Year was the reduction in drinking wine! Glycerol in the muscles being used up. OK, I am now 'On The Program' - We're Off!!! Cheers Kristine

Re: Lonniecee, Peter147, Kristine & Baloo's New Years Cohens Sprint
Cracked the 90kg mark this morning. That hurts.
Start Weight: 90.3 Goal Weight: 77.0 13.3 Kg to lose. My initial goal of 6 weeks might be too aggressive. This might be a two-monther. |

Re: Lonniecee, Peter147, Kristine & Baloo's New Years Cohens Sprint
Hmm, I think I've knocked myself out of contention for this race, I thought about joining in, but I started on 3.1.08.
I'll have to cheer by the sidelines.

Hi meagain, Why not post your weight as of today - you CAN still be in this "mini-sprint" - why not? Read Baloo's reply to Kristine:- Quote:
